The test and trace systems in countries that do it successfully rely on very high compliance levels and strict enforcement. I just can't see that happening here, or in any Western country really (with the possible exception of Germany). I think we're going to be in this state of flux until there's either a vaccine that's effective enough or treatment plans and antiviral drugs to treat the disease means there no risk of hospitals becoming overwhelmed. If I thought it was going to work and sort this out then 1 its not and 2 isn’t an option I want to consider so 3 or 4
