Not rated as a scam then, next question, do you know anyone or a company relevant to you in Malton? Quote

No. I assume, though, that if it was track and trace they'd also text or leave a message? I've got the app and it's just done and exposure check which came back to tell me I "don't need to take further action", so I think it's probably not track and trace. Quote

Not been in yet, looks alright. For the benefit of any Stasi watching, cancelled this now (and this weekend in London). Utter fucking shitshow of a year. Quote

Should be, I know they're opening for the Mansfield game. Wasnt expecting our extreme outskirts of Nottingham to go into tier 3 but it has, so I'm being a citizen and not travelling to Bolton or London as planned. Or Florence. Or Manchester. Or St Ives. Or anywhere else vaguely involving fun for the next few weeks. Quote

I've had a missed call from an 01653 number and I think it might be them. I've tried to call back but there's no dial tone. I’ve only had texts and emails from NHStracing but Mrs Manc got a call from an 0300 number Quote
gonzo Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Our kids mrs just got a message off track and trace saying she needed to isolate for two weeks until yesterday. Couldnt make it up honestly🤦♂️ Quote
Zico Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 here's one I don't understand, or more to the point, conflicting info has left us confused mentioned this previously, but the other half's nan ended up in hospital with dyhydration / water infection ended up in Newcastle hospital, sorted the infection, wouldn't let her go till hydrated though, then transferred to Alnwick, where she caught it got tested positive 3 weeks ago today - on the 8th on the 9th, they thought her time was up, so her auntie went in to see her, she'd been put in her own room, auntie wore PPE and all that, got told to isolate for 14 days after the 14 days is up, her nan is still here - covid probably didn't touch the sides, but she's weaker having been lying in a bed for weeks, the main problem is she's being hard work with the nurses, still dehydrated, not drinking / eating, and generally ready to give up - but doesn't want to die in hospital so the hospital agree to let her go home as 14 days is u p- they then also tell her auntie she didn't have to have bothered isolating as she was in ppe when she saw her (otherwise, NHS staff would be constantly isolating) her nan got home tuesday so my other half went up that day, then she died wednesday, sad, but, in the circumstances, best they could've hoped for - i.e. not alone in hospital, and got to spend time with her closest since being home 1 ) the paramedic who brought her home said she was tested again 2 weeks ago, on 15th, and as she was still positive, that's when the 14 days starts from then for anyone coming into contact with her, i.e. my mrs - so it seems isolation periods come into play following your last test, not your first(?) 2 ) my mrs wore PPE most of the time with her at home (other than to breifly let her see her face, and hold her hand) but that now doesnt matter, PPE or otherwise, she needs to isolate(?) 3 ) but me and my daughter don't(!?) 4 ) then the GP that came yesterday told them that patients can potentially be infectious for 6 weeks after their first positive test(?!?!?!) 5 ) but they didn't test her before letting her go home, because the 2 weeks was up from her first test now if that's not confusing I don't know what is surely they can't be thinking folk might be infectious for up to 6 weeks, but telling them to crack on after 2?? and that's unless you get tested again within that two week period, in which case, you keep adding 2 weeks on anyway the mrs is isolating (i.e. I have to do the shopping) but ordered a test at home kit, though not confident we'd have the results back sooner than her 14 day period is up wtf Quote
