It depends how quickly it happens really. As soon as he starts putting taxes up,  then he'll go from hero to zero pretty quickly, as people will quickly forget.

The worry is that JRM and Gove will be lurking around , as usual. I can imagine somebody like JRM is a Bolty type persons wet dream of a PM, but surely he can't get enough support. The thought of chinless Gove getting the gig is equally frightening as well.
