That was one of the loveliest things to ever happen. Stood in my garden sobbing like a baby! Proud to work for the NHS 👏👏👏👏❤️

There’s an overwhelming sense that they’ve pulled the ladder up and are just keeping us happy and numb with free money.

Thats generally a Labour tactic, which suggests to me that they are really treading water.

If I’m honest, they had my sympathy and support - this is just off the scale and you can only prepare so much. But as soon as they let Cummings emerge from the shadows as the real power, they totally lost the plot. He fucked up and deserved to be potted, entirely for the message it would have sent.

Instead, they chose to appear like the feeble, self-serving Tory cunts we knew deep down that they are. And in doing so, expedited the waves of criticism and disgust they have received. That one failure will be the sword they will be remembered for falling on.

They know it, too. You can already see the exit strategies being paved by the likes of Hancock.

A bit of a mess, chaps.

See how our approach differs to everyone else globally.

WHO fucking every man and his dog over here. Spent the last 6 months saying masks are useless and now saying wear em all the time.

We’re dicks. Plain and simple.

We're not dicks

Some would make out it's our fault, but it's not

Johnson et al have blood on their hands

They've played at it

Looked for some middle ground that doesn't exist

You either lock down or you go herd

I said ‘we’ as a country.

Obviously I mean this shower of shit ‘governing’ us.

Fair enough

I suspect you and I are at opposite ends of the spectrum regarding what should've been done, but it's clear to me, half in, half out isn't an option

Commit to something, don't play at it

We probably are.

Herd would never have worked, by the way.

We will never know

Unlike you, I'd not mind weighing costs against deaths

Each to their own on that

But they've gone for a middle that doesn't exist

Loads of deaths AND a fucked up economy

Herd Immunity would have been fucking glorious

I remember when every cunt was wanking over the video of that plonker in his garden doing his water experiment :D

We won't end up having to worry about contact tracing at work, here's how it seems they are running it in Preston.

Lad got his test kit and was told to do it on Thursday and it would be picked up. He did the test and when they came to pick it up by the time he got to the door they had fucked off.

He rang them and they said he would have to do another test and it would be Monday before he got it. Asked him how he was feeling, he said he'd had 4 really bad days but was feeling a lot better, and they said as Monday would be a week after he reported it then if he felt well he could crack on with no test and come in work.

The water experiment was about not overwhelming the NHS.

Which we've done.

Good job the herd immunity strategy over here didn't last long then :D

Aye I’d be interested to hear

Hit me twice. Xmas Eve then again mid Jan. worst flu ever

What's herd immunity without any guarantee of immunity?

The idea we could've just carried on and stiff upper lipped our way through hundreds of thousands of deaths is a fantasy. No Nightingale hospitals, no testing, no PPE. At some point there would've been a tipping point and we would've had to lock down.

Decisive, early action is what has worked across the board so far. And what we should be doing now.

10000 new cases in India yesterday. Restaurants reopen there on Monday.

If our numbers dropped from 100ish to zero, like Spain, would you believe it?

No.

I don’t believe the Italian and Spanish numbers.

Tourism would be the word.

15,000 in Piccadilly Gardens

Hoping that it isn't infectious outside!

Seems selfish to me
