Members Rudy
I went to Taba, Egypt on Boxing Day, Raddison Blue. It was great could have only been 50 people there in this huge hotel, mostly Russians. Right in the mountains, right on the coast. This was 5 years ago so might have changed a bit but it was great, especially the spread they put on for NYE

Guest
Spent a full Christmas in Chamonix then onto Italy. Mostly closed. Then 2010/11 for the Ashes, which was brilliant!
Site Supporter Biggish Dave Posted September 22, 2020 Site Supporter Share Posted September 22, 2020 Been to Aus twice at Christmas, Christmas Day is dead as anything but otherwise good. Id have thought Christmas is pretty much cancelled everywhere this year?

Walking in the snow, no decorating, no visiting families, no driving, pissed up in a pub drinking ale by a coal fire.

I actually enjoy staying in, fire roaring and drinking beer at christmas. Usually it's by choice, this year we wont have any other option but that's fine by me

radcliffe white
Never got the appeal to go away at xmas maybe different when kids are older and moved on Can’t beat the festive football games (different this year like)

Nowt more miserable than slate grey skies and dampness. The great escape might have more meaning this year.
freds dad
We were thinking of going away for some Christmas sun but the current situation has put paid to that. We'll be looking at booking a shopping delivery slot instead.
Sweep
Done both Goa and Sri Lanka, loved it both times, as I like to be warm, and December here is grim Edited September 22, 2020 by Sweep
Boby Brno
Flown out to Australia early morning twice now on Christmas Day. Never had a turkey dinner in the sky though. I’d give my right arm to do it again this year but it’s not going to happen.

Traf
All good stuff, chaps, but I was rather hoping for some recommendations for places we might actually be able to get to. Should ask Worthy.

Anyone going to Vietnam go to phu quoc island for a bit of relaxation and island life. But Vietnam on the whole is just an amazing place. Limited ladyboys though.
