European nations are arguably closer militarily than they have been for years. certainly not weakened.

So much combined training, interoperability, and expansion. 

He may have threatened actions that would have weakened NATO, but that was all about spending. 

His economic policies are a different issue altogether.

We are at the stage where we know Trump is wrong with everything he’s doing about Ukraine but we should stand by them anyway. Well that’s @Farrelli viewpoint anyway.

I don't even know if I'd call it a shafting. It's just more of a damp squib really?

Reality "I will maybe get Russia to maybe stop firing weapons at power plants for 30 days in 2 months"

And I am giving him a chance. I've just pointed out that while it's not a great looking start he's got the chance to make amends via his envoys in Saudi. And I am as always - hoping to be proven wrong.

I don't think many can look at the US change in approach and call it a start. 

Feels much more like we've gone backwards. 

World seems more dangerous if anything.
