Made me smile, though I can see why some may not be impressed. 

The big issue isn't with the advert though, but the burning of the hats.

It was made in August, but apparently it's offensive to Palestinians. 

M&S should just have stuck to their guns and not issued an apology for something they haven't done.

I suppose their Jewish origins might not help, but they simply shouldn't be cowering to a mob of perma-offendees.

It was filmed back in August way before all this kicked off. Green red and silver are traditional Christmas colours.

I think the best comment I have heard regarding a ceasefire is that it is a agreement from 2 sides to stop fighting.

Who will agree for Hamas and unless it includes the return of all hostages what exactly are they 'ceasing'

Aye, if you're a Hamas supporter you're either in Hamas or 100% behind what they've done so far 

They aren't backing down and this Israeli offence is more than likely what they expected to happen when they kicked this latest episode off 

None of this will be a surprise or feel like a threat to Hamas supporters 

If it were possible, the rest of Palestine should be calling for a ceasefire

But they don't have much say 

And they are the ones who will more than likely die 

Collateral damage all round
