Including the patrons of Alberts Schloss where I eventually ended up. The media lap it up though. Any radicals selling squishes mate? Quote

Made me smile, though I can see why some may not be impressed. The big issue isn't with the advert though, but the burning of the hats. It was made in August, but apparently it's offensive to Palestinians. M&S should just have stuck to their guns and not issued an apology for something they haven't done. I suppose their Jewish origins might not help, but they simply shouldn't be cowering to a mob of perma-offendees. Quote
Gonk Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 It was filmed back in August way before all this kicked off. Green red and silver are traditional Christmas colours. Anybody making a connection to a Palestinian flag really needs to get off the internet Quote

Never had you down as the perma-offendee type 😉 Quote

Moderators Zico Posted November 2, 2023 Moderators Posted November 2, 2023 If I was M&S I'd follow up with them burning Christmas tree toppers as per the star of David They won't though Because of their Jewish background So it was obviously deliberate Filmed in August? It's not like the conflict started on October the 7th About as coincidental as Greta's octopus Quote
stevieb Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I feel sorry for that Zelensky chap. Rumour has it he's just sat at Kiev bus stops asking for a billion dollars in aid right about now and getting nowhere. Such a fall from grace. Quote

It's support for the front line of defence. The support is constant and will continue. Not sure where you get your info from. Russia? Edited November 2, 2023 by BobyBrno Quote

I'll try harder to find chicken kyiv in aldi tomoz. Didn't know front line support was still needed because we're all focused on that bit of sand Jesus was ALLEGEDLY born in Quote

A massive problem when one half of a war is populated with folk who don’t fear death is that they’ll fight to the last man. They also don’t value the lives of their families and death potentially adds a bit of kudos. That’s pretty much what we’re up against, isn’t it? Quote
Ani Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I think the best comment I have heard regarding a ceasefire is that it is a agreement from 2 sides to stop fighting. Who will agree for Hamas and unless it includes the return of all hostages what exactly are they 'ceasing' Quote

Aye, if you're a Hamas supporter you're either in Hamas or 100% behind what they've done so far They aren't backing down and this Israeli offence is more than likely what they expected to happen when they kicked this latest episode off None of this will be a surprise or feel like a threat to Hamas supporters If it were possible, the rest of Palestine should be calling for a ceasefire But they don't have much say And they are the ones who will more than likely die Collateral damage all round Quote
