Speaking of Corbyn, I see he has a tweet on his page blaming an Israeli air strike for taking out that hospital and killing 500 people. Nearly 130k likes and 10s of thousands of retweets for a lie.

How he was anywhere near running this country is the saddest indictment available of where our nations politics are right now.

What the fuck were they thinking :(

Not right now of course.  He is half the reason Boris the Bullshitter got an 80 seat  majority. That in itself is also a sad indictment of our politics recently.

Anyway, back to Israel and how the hell it gets sorted.

Gaza is an issue because Egypt and Israel couldn't agree way back in the 1950's after their war what to do with it. It makes no sense to have a landlocked enclave of Palestine but that's what we now have. That has lead to a terrorist organisation taking over the entire region.

So we have issues in the west bank and Gaza, different circumstances entirely and different solution's required.

🇮🇱

It gets better. You’ve just admitted you know nothing about the conflict, but you still feel confident enough to pick a side and start flying their flag. Fck me 😂

Thanks for asking about my trip. I’m not usually naive enough to think that gives me more knowledge than you. However, since most your news comes from algorithms on your Twitter feed, I’m feeling pretty confident 😉

The trip was a mini football tour. We played Jewish teams in Israel, Palestinians in the West Bank, Bethlehem and some villages etc. Then we finished with a unity tournament with Israelis and Palestinians. No drama really, other than a few injuries because the village pitches were shite.

Id be honest enough to admit I leant slightly more to the Palestinian side before this trip. But I’ve said it before on here, that going out there evened it out & made me more sympathetic to the Israeli people. I’d be confident to say I’m more balanced than you on this.

As @Not in Crawley said, the simple art of listening.

Not sure who it was who said on here the other day that you think you know it all (or words to that affect) but fuck me they’re right. I’ll break it down for you.

All those who went out celebrating/protesting hours after the attack on the 7th are knobs.

Those pulling down pictures of missing kids in London are knobs

Those purposely targeting kids in their attacks (I’ve only seen that from one side and it’s not Israel) are horrible sadistic twats and need a slow death.

Those protesting for the sake of protesting are Knobs.

Those that think Israel are purposely targeting kids are knobs.

You can take from that what you want.

No worries, I have already have.

We all agree those elements are knobs, thunder cunts, what ever you enjoy calling them. This 'know it all' is with you on that 👍

You've already admitted Israel do it on purpose. So not sure why you're back on yourself now. But you've accepted you know nothing about the conflict, so that's understandable. Ten minutes reading around the history of this conflict will tell anyone that Israel's choices and actions over the decades have been nothing other than deliberate.

Only trying to help out mate. You said you know nothing about a conflict you've been incredibly vocal about.

Would you like some recommended sources or documentaries?

And you think it could be solved by 10 minutes reading. Amazing .

Solved? Who said anything about it being solved? 😂

Take your time if you want, no need to do it in 10 minutes. Happy to discuss later 👍

10 minutes though, I’d love to be a fly on the wall in your classroom.

Absolutely. Fuck Hamas. I'm pretty sure everyone on here is in agreement that they're utter cunts, and we'd all want to "seak revange" whatever the cost if that had happened to us.

Now do the same hypothetical "What would you do if you were in their shoes?" scenario for a Palestinian living in Gaza for the last few decades...

Hindsight I suppose, but certainly don't vote for them in the first place.

Obviously we don't know if there are any undercover movements etc there to get rid of them, but once in, they're hard to remove.

What policies were in the Hamas manifesto when they were elected 17 years ago (bearing in mind there hasn't been an election since)?

Just to reiterate - because some of you struggle with this - I hope every single member of Hamas is killed as soon as possible.

Extermination of Jews and Israel…that wasn’t ever going to end well.

So you think the entire population of Gaza want that because they elected Hamas 17 years ago, when most of the current population wasn't even old enough to vote?

I think this is where people find it hard. Maybe because Hamas’ recent actions were so horrific.

But the hypothetical is and has always been there.

Sitting having your Sunday Tea, told that the bulldozers will be coming. Your crops destroyed and village evicted. If you resist your life will be made even more miserable, or you’ll be shot. What would you do? Most just keep their heads down and get on with it. Astonishing really.
