When I was ill with it last year, the headache was just horrendous, to the point, and it's really difficult to explain, but every hair on my head hurt, it was like I could feel each individual follicle.

Yeah, that's a good way of describing it. Just sore everywhere. Behind the eyes is a special sort of joy.

Fine, I think, no shortage of breath. Cough isn't as bad, still there though and a bit wheezy. Proper aching and knackered, headache is fucking awful. Like painful to touch my face bad.

Take some cocaine you won’t be able to feel your face

Nearly 6 months on and I still suffer from a constant mild headache which can get more intense, particularly at night.

Just finished watching Fever Pitch the Premier league years on the BBC.

Feel really sick now.

I’d rather have Covid

Just listening to science & technology committee questioning the chair of the South African medical association, she repeats omicron is a milder version it’s 5 weeks in over there, however folk with jabs have less severe symptoms and recover quicker.

Great news

Maybe if the Tories hadn’t fucked the NHS to within an inch of its life over the last decade we wouldn’t still need to worry about a few thousand Covid cases turning up at the door.

Unfortunately, your beloved blues will still claim we need to protect an NHS that they simply haven’t.

How many times you need telling I’ve voted Tory once in 40 years, every other time voted Labour. Admittedly not for 10 years plus but I’m hardly JRM.

Then educate yourself on the reasons for NHS issues.

Here we go.

Meanwhile every other nation on earth has been able to cope with the pandemic with no issues whatsoever. Lots of slack in the system to allow for such an eventuality.

Time you emigrated?

Suppose it’s all relative.. anyhow get well soon. 👍

Even though we could/should get less deaths from it, I suppose it can still have a huge effect on the NHS, just because it's milder, it doesn't mean it's mild for everyone......

I'll be honest, if it wasn't covid I'd just have thought I've got a shitty cold.

It’s milder overall meaning less severe cases as compared to Delta.

Just heard on the radio that we've now run out of LFTs and PCR capacity is full.......so what happens if you're trying to get back into the country?

I flew back from Krakow at the weekend, I had to take an LFT at the airport before they let me on the plane, and then I took a PCR yesterday, that I've mailed off, and I have to isolate until they contact me to say it's safe for me to leave my house......but if the PCR capacity is over stretched, could somebody arriving today, possibly be "housebound" for several days waiting for their results?

I can't help but think the Government has been over reliant on the vaccine, and that's why they are pushing us to have the booster, as they just can't cope with everybody testing everyday
