Marc505 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 What a great result, unbelievable. That scoreline plus the performance in front of the Sky cameras last week... People are gonna be talking! Quote
paulhanley Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Landmark result. Five away from home doesn't come around very often (I can remember a 1-5 at Sheff U in the 70s, the famous win at Leicester and the 1-5 at Leeds six or seven years ago). Nice to get one over Ipswich who strolled to a 0-5 over our kids last time we played them. Bolton are back with a bang! Next week's opponents Rotherham have conceded four today! Quote

captainmed Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 (edited) Really pleased for the lads off here who undertook that arduous trip. We hadn’t scored a goal there in our previous 6 visits!!! Njoy the trip back, you deserve it. 🍺🍺🍺🍺 Edited September 11, 2021 by captainmed Quote
Didledee Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Watched with a smile, they really are a terrific team, Dapo is exceptional, was a bit greedy in wanting six, as it's not happened since the 90's, but that was more than enough, had a feeling we'd do some damage to Ipswich after the amount of chances and disgraceful officials vs Burton. Farnywhite Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Big spending Ipswich put to the sword . Fucking brilliant Quote
trotter1966 Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Kevin Nolan…. Thank you for recommending Dapo to us, the lad is a bit special. COYWM! Quote
CambridgeBWFC Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Fucking incredible, we were unplayable first 15 minutes of that second half. Decent turn out and in great voice. Get in Quote
Ani Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Do we still need to go out and spend on a striker ? Quote

Dr. Feelgood Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 This doesn't wipe out the Knight night. It just removes one of my dozen or so exclamation marks in my head when O think of him. 20 years doesn't set a space. I can never shake that off. Quote

But the win was 77/78 under Ian Greaves .. even Peter Nicholson scored. Fact we are referencing a game 43 years ago shows how infrequently five away from home comes around. Only twice since then I think - until today Quote

Even though a 1-5 at Elland Road is not to be sniffed at! Quote
