  • How nice of Dapo to keep his numbers down last season just to allow us to be the ones sign him. Him & Sheehan are just different calibre to the shit we've seen past few years. Real quality in fron

Love this fella, he’s come up the hard way, stepped down 3 divisions and moved up North to get game time, not your average footballer, intelligent, articulate, seems a top fella and going to be hell o

Beating this lot is some compensation.

I know it’s 20+ years ago but fuck ‘em.

3 mins injury time, where’s he got that from 😂

We still owe them big style

But this helps!

What a great result, unbelievable. That scoreline plus the performance in front of the Sky cameras last week... People are gonna be talking!

Landmark result. Five away from home doesn't come around very often (I can remember a 1-5 at Sheff U in the 70s, the famous win at Leicester and the 1-5 at Leeds six or seven years ago).

Nice to get one over Ipswich who strolled to a 0-5 over our kids last time we played them. Bolton are back with a bang!

Next week's opponents Rotherham have conceded four today!

Justice!

Really pleased for the lads off here who undertook that arduous trip.

We hadn’t scored a goal there in our previous 6 visits!!!

Njoy the trip back, you deserve it.

Watched with a smile, they really are a terrific team, Dapo is exceptional, was a bit greedy in wanting six, as it's not happened since the 90's, but that was more than enough, had a feeling we'd do some damage to Ipswich after the amount of chances and disgraceful officials vs Burton.

Big spending Ipswich put to the sword . Fucking brilliant

Kevin Nolan…. Thank you for recommending Dapo to us, the lad is a bit special. COYWM!

Lovely.

Fucking incredible, we were unplayable first 15 minutes of that second half. Decent turn out and in great voice. Get in

Well that was just splendid

Do we still need to go out and spend on a striker ?

Should have gone to that match at Sheffield. But my EX wife stopped me.
went a few years later and they put 5 past us. Their fans sang Remember, remember, remember……..

Barry Knight that one is for you, you big fucking mingebiscuit

Sunderland game in 2 week massive now :D

Bet mr grey is sat on the colonels lap as we speak doing a sooty and sweep monologue

This doesn't wipe out the Knight night.

It just removes one of my dozen or so exclamation marks in my head when O think of him.

20 years doesn't set a space. I can never shake that off.

Christmas 83 I think that was. But the win was 77/78 under Ian Greaves .. even Peter Nicholson scored.

Fact we are referencing a game 43 years ago shows how infrequently five away from home comes around. Only twice since then I think - until today

Wasn't there but relatives were and that's what they say. Quite some night! I think the Leicester win on the first day of our Prem return probably tops the list though. Even though a 1-5 at Elland Road is not to be sniffed at!

He just likes to poke the hornet's nest.

A few of us felt he needed to improve his end product- as did Evatt- which he now seems to be doing. Long may it continue.

Yeah that's about right.  There's a big difference between "he has the ability to produce more in front of goal" and "he's crap, why have we signed him".  From his first touch on his debut v Morecambe, it was clear he was a class above.  Now he's adding goals and a swagger he's looking like a championship player in waiting.
