  • And as for this tiresome bollocks about pathways in our last two tournaments, do people not realise theres a reason we got those pathways? We avoided groups of death becasue we won every single game i

  • Fuck me we lose one game without a full strength team against a team of shit houses who shithoused themselves half way through the last tournament and the knives are out. It was just one of them

  • Biggest cheers tonight were for the paper planes hitting the pitch. I’ve also learned that being close to Wembley as the crow flies means fuck all when it comes to the tube!   Anyway, 9th/10

We did both, best weekend of football ever.

Tremendous, almost surreal that 2 groups of BW fans should be at both games 400 miles apart. Dave possibly trumped you by winning the half time raffle in hospitality, a football signed by both teams, presented to him by Rod Stewart!

Cheers pal. There's a chance I might be with the famiglia that weekend but the dodgy box travels with me. Hoping we give them a right seeing to.

Hope he didn't gloat too much at the end 😁

3-0 England

Meltdown incoming if Baccus has a good game.

Aussie lad had nice nail paint on anyway

How the fuck has Watkins not scored (twice)?????????????

Like watching Bolton v generic league one bottom half team at home this

Please tell me there aren't pubs full of rabid ex pats enthusiastically jumping around watching this @bolty58? It has the atmosphere of a Tuesday afternoon at Horwich baths.

Not seen that much, but that was my thought

This is rubbish.

It's not even that good.

A quicker, quality ball played in.

Grealish not pissing around with it.

Goal.

Simples.

Does anyone care about this match apart from people wanting revenge for a similarly meaningless friendly 20 years ago?

Revenge?

We beat them 2-1 in a friendly in 2016....

As an Australian, I care. We don't play teams of England's calibre ... well ... ever. Just want us to be competitive, and we are, considering the players picked.

Couldn't see why an Englander would care.

Unless he lives in Australia and is bored shitless by gormless fuckers who wouldn't know the shape of a proper football if it hit them on the dorsum singing '3-1' for twenty fucking years.

Wouldn't know mate. I am on a mission jumping between Morocco and Spain at present.'

I wouldn't have thought that the turgid dross I have just watched would have anybody jumping around other than perhaps Aussies who have a similar myopic viewpoint as the jocks when it comes to playing England.

No drama

England 2nd eleven 1 - Aussies - 0

Only saw a bit of the 2nd half, fell asleep just after the goal - just tired, nowt to do with the match.

We have a quality usual starting 11 and a few decent subs but scratch below the surface a bit and the replacements are nowhere near the same quality

I'm not so sure.

A low key game last night- reckon the first team would also have been a bit dull.

Good time to give young, or inexperienced players a go.

Turned it off and continued the long shadow on itvx.
