  • And as for this tiresome bollocks about pathways in our last two tournaments, do people not realise theres a reason we got those pathways? We avoided groups of death becasue we won every single game i

  • Fuck me we lose one game without a full strength team against a team of shit houses who shithoused themselves half way through the last tournament and the knives are out. It was just one of them

  • Biggest cheers tonight were for the paper planes hitting the pitch. I’ve also learned that being close to Wembley as the crow flies means fuck all when it comes to the tube!   Anyway, 9th/10

I thought the first goal just hit Foden

It turns out it was actually a very cute finish

You forgot champagne socialist

You are just being silly now. How could that be possible in his case? He has mirrors doesn't he?

I can recall the centenary in 1973 when England smashed them 5-0, and five of the scots players were from Man U😀

Brilliant 1st half, our attacking as been class, Bellingham and Foden 👍👍

You almost seem to be suggesting it's OK then?

Not at all. How did you come to that conclusion?

The England anthem gets booed all over the shop. The players are trained not to react negatively. We’d likely be booing if it was the Scots, Argies or Germany at our place. It’s pretty pathetic stuff, and is usually done to rile up emotions for the game rather than a hatred of the other nations people. Booing someone who has just died is worse in my opinion. CB was a top bloke & deserved better. Should have just gone for the round of applause to be honest.

Anyway, that was top class. Bellingham & Foden are World Class. Great pressing, battling all over & some incredible moves. Scotland aren’t top of their group by luck. They’ve had an incredible run of form & have some good players. Great so far from England.

If I were a neutral, I'd say that it seemed like a match between seasoned internationals and a bunch of huffers and puffers. As I am biased, it seems like a match between seasoned internationals and a bunch of huffers and puffers.

If they open up to try to get back into the game it could get really ugly for them.

You said it's to be expected, then said our lot were worse.

Might be expected, but it doesn't make it any less shit. Especially when it's also their anthem when one of their number is competing for Britain or the UK.

Correct. Many Rangers fans support England just as many of the 'other' lot support the ROI.

A Bellshill Rangers fan did the World Cup England trip with me in 2006.

Could do, but I wonder if we might take the foot off the gas, especially if we make loads of subs.

I know grown men who pay to go and watch scotch football.

So are all Rangers fans England fans then?

Lovely rendition of "Yes Sir I can boogie" at HT and I'm loving the Scottish fans taking the piss out of McGuire.

Harry mcguire he's taking the piss.

#burn

Do Celtic and rangers fans actually get on when Scotland play? Or do the Celtic reps not even bother turning up?

Of course it was to be bloody expected! 😂What were you expecting? A big welcome banner, drams all round & a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne, whilst both fans held arms across the barriers ??

You seem to be completely missing the context of this being a football rivalry.

Booing National Anthems is pathetic but booing someone recently deceased is worse in my opinion. Shouldn’t need much of a debate to be honest. Can we talk about the football now you giant snowflake? 🙏

He might be a red but he's never let England down. I hope he (Maguire) scores now to shove it right up em.

Tbf the minutes silence for Craig Brown was well respected by the overwhelming majority in the ground. It sounded like a small handful showing zero respect, the wankers. He always struck me as a lovely guy.

Same here.

But on TV the "minute" was 14 seconds at best.

I got Hull away 2008 remembrance Sunday silence flashbacks when loads of our pissed up fans came barrelling in singing songs during the silence.

Dunks having a good game

McGuire LOL!

Gave the Scottish fans what they wanted.
