It’s either Sarce was a bad apple and it’s good to get rid 

or Evatt is doing some power move because he thought Sarce was getting too influential.

In reality there’s gonna be some grey area where both Evatt and Sarce maybe went too far and let their egos cloud their better judgment but just hoping that the rest of the squad isn’t too phased by it.

think Evatt has got a good project underway here and something like this has potential to massively undermine that. Hopefully squad kicks on after this and he’s not lost the dressingroom

I think they might, if the attitude is 'let's sulk and think about Sarce' we ar fucked. If the attitude is 'we are good enough without him let's go out and show people ' we win by 2 or 3 

Apart from not having a like for like replacement for him I think yesterday might help the squad a lot.

IE has had since Tuesday night to talk to the senior players and any who might have been Sarcevic's allies (for want of a better word) and so they should all hopefully be on the same page.

The inmates can’t run the asylum, I think Evatt does come out with massive credit for being bold/brave/stupid enough to fire his captain off without a replacement. That has to be better than letting him fester until January disrupting the squad even more.

In the short term, Sarce's flounce, MJ's suspension , Lee's fitness & only Thomasson in reserve will leave us stretched for midfield players & we'll have to struggle through to January but longer term we can get better than Sarce & we could end up better off.

For today i'm more bothered about our full back positions than midfield but this team should be good enough to get a result  ..........

It might turn out that Evatt was in the wrong, but if it ever boils down to a player v manager situation, the manager must always prevail or he's a sitting duck.

yep, the players may not of been happy with him, using the muscle of being captain and all that.  Better out than in, perhaps the replacement in January will have had proper homework done on him to make sure hes not disruptive.   Nobody knows, but Sarcevic profile doesnt read good does it.
