Site Supporter Tonge moor green jacket Posted August 19, 2023 Site Supporter Posted August 19, 2023 Hard to make a proper judgement as we don't know what was going on before the video started etc. On the face of it though, it's horrific. Nothing changes. Rinse and repeat for the return match. Quote

We can clearly see that's market Street and if groups of Wigan fans have turned up on market Street after the game then they are only there to cause trouble. Quote

Maybe, we don't know. They could have decided to call in somewhere for a quiet beer too, we just don't know. Just not a great sight. Quote

They might have ordered a kebab from pasha to pick up on the way home Quote
batton carrier Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Or they could be a group of Wigan cunts who have taken a detour on the way home to go and look for trouble. Quote

A video of a couple of seconds shows nothing, other than a smallish group of blokes having a scrap. And that is most certainly not endearing. Of course a load of Wigan may have gone looking for trouble, then again it could have been some of our lot. Quote

A few Wiggin went to Howfen looking for trouble after the game and found it, from the footage i saw it looked like they took a bit of a battering. Edited August 20, 2023 by Burndens Bogs Quote

itdiddidit? Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Heading over the Middlebrook soon as this game finishes there'll no doubt be one or two shopping with kids there in full stripey kits. We're gonna have to deal with this as shite as it is. It's gonna take a long while mind. Black Sunday was far worse live on Sky. They stopped stocking the footie badged cakes in Tesco a while ago as I used stick my thumb through the plastic into the United and Wigan ones every week or two. Childish I know but I'll have a quick check they've not started doing them again. Quote

History repeated itself happened on the pitch, but if this version is right then Wigan picking on lone/cheap targets would be another case of history on repeat. Maybe they came badly unstuck afterwards. ...probably quite a few from both sides will come unstuck with an early morning knock on the door. Quote
