WOW....what a day....what an occasion!! Boby, I couldn't believe you saw me taking the pic so far away 🤣 Roll on Sydney!!!

  • Got too love the Aussies.😅 Loads of Bolton fans here.  We were at the traffic crossing yesterday and an Aussie/British family stood next to us. The young lad, about 9, kept staring at my son’s

Match and the Ashes must largely rest on what England do with the new ball.

Hoping Jimmy will swing it round corners and knock a few of them over today.

Weather forecast would suggest we need more or less 10 wickets in 210 minutes now.

Both Aussie openers gone, let's hope the rain doesn't spoil this!

It's going to be tricky as the Aussies are in total defensive mode.

By eck, if there play on Sunday, we might get over the line.

Fantastic day for England this.

Really happy with England. But so pissed off we are going to spend the day at Old Trafford watching no cricket tomorrow 😟

Could be watching some of Jimmy's last ever Test overs - hope he's got another wicket left in him

Get some coveralls down tomorrow

The retaining is critical.

To you maybe, you're obviously well into it, like a few more on here.

It's more of a passing interest for me, but surely a tied series is better than losing 2-1 or 3-1.

I can't see it matters where that little urn is.

Anyway, sounds like we might get a couple of hours Sunday early on.

If there's even two thirds of a full day's play on Sunday, I think we win

Go to Salford instead.

I am - bought 4 tickets this week as a back up plan B.

We’ll go through the motions in case there’s a miracle, get on the beers early round OT, then jump on the tram to Prestwich when the inevitable happens.

I know that, never mind 🙂

That weather forecast has put pay to the ashes, about time Lancashire put a massive roof on OT. Gutted at that weather forecast.

Nice to know I've still got a rent free place to stay whenever I feel like coming back.

This is a belter - apparently those of us who think Bairstow shouldn't be playing would have a different opinion if we know he was playing crap because of his injury. It's fair enough he feels sympathy for himself but why on earth he thinks being injured is justification for getting selected I'll never know.

No more play this test by the looks of it, so good we spent an extra 40 mins yesterday trying to repair his ego.

It was a top day, feeling it now.... 😁

Clearing up. A bit. For a while?

A surprise that they're playing, just need a wicket or two.

Got here at 11

Genuinely thought no chance of play today. Continued pissing down. Puddles all over the place

Massive credit to the ground staff for getting the game on
