4th match running, we've ended up giving tickets away outside.......customers are fucking wankers, letting us down at the last minute, which means we don't have enough time to offer them out to other customers. 3 tickets given away to randoms. My colleague reckons, over these first 4 matches, we've now given 9 tickets away to random folk milling around outside.

Get this, one of the cunts, had the audacity to ring up this morning at just after 8am and say he just didn't fancy it today, and asked if he could go to the Golf instead, as we've taken a few customers to that (which apparently is absolutely freezing..)

haha....we're only at the Golf today apparently. If you'd rocked up earlier today, I'd have been able to sneak you in. The lot who are there are already on about knocking it on the head and going into Liverpool to get pissed, because it's too cold

Are they all from down south by any chance? 

Were there Fri / Sat, but plan on leaving early and setting up camp in shananigans before last train home

None of us based down south could be arsed travelling up for either the Golf or the Cricket

 

I might go to the Oval if we have a chance of winning the Ashes though (1st and 3rd day) - if we don't have a chance to win them, then all the free booze in the world won't get me there.
