...and according to Evatt we're supposed to be a passing team. The reality is that our passing has been poor for weeks now and we can't shoot for toffee. What happened to the team we had?

It is bizarre how we’ve suddenly become such a long ball team. We’ve got our 2 best ‘ball-playing’ midfielders on and the defence are just bypassing them.

Creating chances which is good, but certainly not the ‘Evatt-style’ that we’ve been so used to seeing.

The clear change of style to long ball, which doesn’t suit any of the players we have, is baffling.

Started playing better as the half went on but still overall quite poor. We do a lot without really doing much.

Dunno why, but I reckon we'll win it second half.

We used to have such an obvious way of playing out from the back, MJ coming deep, playing out to the LCB or RCB and working it to the wing back to gain ground and start the attack. At the moment, we do the first bit, to Santos and then it goes up to Bakayoko (who is hardly Kevin Davies) with the midfield playing for second balls. I’d be interested to know if it’s deliberate or just lack of confidence

Surely it's Bakayoko and Bodvarsson if he's going more direct. 

Anyway, let's see what happens second half. 

Just looked at the stats. 0 shots on target. It's all well and good dominating possession but if you don't get any shots on target you ain't going to win.
