  1. Interesting comment from a labour mp. I’ve heard these sort of words somewhere before and sure they were ridiculed. Too busy to look back right now though at just whom 😎

  2. Don’t care how many times it’s been posted on however many threads but it was 33 years ago today. 33 FUCKING YEARS!!!! It’s an omen I’m telling you that we do it to within a day. Only one season in Div 4 once more. I know exactly where I am on that video and I really hope that I feel the same tomorrow. COYFWM!!!

  4. Labour banned people celebrating on the 23rd March. They approved a twelve £BILLION contract with Bic to supply the NHS with just four hundred biros. They demanded Trebor change their BlackJacks name and branding, to NONbinaryBAAMEES Chews with a caricature of Yasser Arafat. Banned people from saying "I'm English" - punishable by prison. Jeremy Corbyn invited the Brighton bomber to his luxury eighteen £Million Dasha for beer and sandwiches. And more... It took Brexit and Boris and the votes of thousands upon thousands of hardworking patriots who'd have done sterling service in both World Wars, had they been born, to repeal this loony laws. GSTQ and down with the intelligent.

  5. The mad thing is there are those saying it's the centrists taking over that has screwed them The thing that'll do for the Tories eventually is what always does for them in the end. Sleaze and a lack of investment in public services. When their hospitals and schools are crumbling then folk work out that they ain't in it for the likes of them. Seems a while off yet though.

  6. I don't think they will get it. When you are so pickled in your own rectitude and arrogantly confirmed in your woke world-view, you become an "untouchable". The smelly masses can vote against you in large numbers but it doesn't alter the fact that you are right. Labour needs to get the message (as do the illberal undemocratswho polled less than 400 votes). Brazen democracy denying (2017-2019), woke hectoring and lecturing, pandering to student politics, the twitterari, Guardianistas, London metropolitans and other assorted travellers will not cut it with wide swathes of people in everyday towns and villages from Northumberland to Dorset. Will it do so? I doubt it. This is a deeper problem than the lurch to the left in the early 1980s under Michael Foot. Foot, Benn and co at least understood democracy and patriotism. The current crew actively scorn both. 2019 wasn't just about Brexit or Corbyn (though both were prominent). It was also about woke crap and people being utterly sick of it. And now we know it for sure.

  7. Labour are a joke. The student politics and belittling insults at anyone who isn’t hard left driven by the Corbynistas won’t be forgotten in a long time I can’t stand the current Conservative mob but this “you’re a Tory” that they’ve developed as an insult simply drives away the silent majority Yet they still don’t get it The daft thing is they don’t need to do this kind of politics, as the current conservatives seem pretty capable of making themselves look bad on their own It’s utterly depressing that red & blue are both so vile in their own ways, and the Lib-Dems are pretty useless (they held the councillor seat here and are pretty active at that level to be fair) Burnham will piss the GM Mayor; I know he’s had his detractors on here, but I disagree with them, I think he genuinely did fight for GM. Even though he did make mistakes, I see him as a bit like the Keegan who managed Newcastle - I think he means well. I think it needs someone like him to redress the balance for Labour longer-term

  13. Indeed. My boss is in Madrid. She’s late 50’s and not even had her first jab yet. While our UK office has been locked down for over 12 months this week has just seen the introduction of compulsory masks in the Madrid office. Utter madness!! The regional variations over there are ridiculous

  16. I've voted Tory more than most down the years. No closet behaviour here. Happily backed Shiny Dave et al. But the conservative party in its current incarnation is a very lurid, distasteful entity. Labour have been a spent force since they lost Scotland to the SNP and won't recover for years. We should, as the great nation we are, never have a leadership that can get away with what it does. But without a decent opposition, it will. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Even if they are shoving their genitals right up your willing, supplicating colon.

  18. Top of my head. Brexit BLM & taking the knee Pro Palestine Pro IRA seemingly against everything that it means to be British furlough.... for longer & spend more money Lockdown longer, harder, and keep pumping even more money into folks pockets Rashford & free school meals pump more money in, endless support for folk who are failing to provide for their own kids. Taking responsibility for your own life & family rather than relying on the state for everything NHS pump more money in rather than realising record amounts pumped in and there isn’t an endless pit of money Then when they get in power they leave a note saying the cupboard is bare, no more money left.

  19. There are millions of people who agree and feel the same way as me - including the vitriol. That's why places like Hartlepool and Leigh are going Conservative. Absolutely unthinkable for generations. Focus it all on me if it makes you feel good - but the electoral maths bluntly says otherwise. Action/reaction. My default position is not one of vitriol. This is the result of wokery, Project Fear and democracy denying. You reap what you sew and millions of people are having their say. Watch it unfold. Again.

  21. I voted Labour right up until 2010. I was sorely disappointed when they were pipped in 1992. I won't vote for them again as I don't believe they will ever relinquish the disease that is wokery and I don't believe I will ever forget the sickening performance we had from 2017-19
