Really, I know there are bigger problems at the club, but KA the fucker has been leaching us for everything

Preaching to the converted there, but can't be discussed until the truth - and the accounts - finally come out.

Do you think the truth will ever come out?

The truth is out there somewhere....

I'm sure that Anderson will do everything he can to hide it, but the accounts have to be published sooner or later and although they don't paint the whole picture they give a good idea. The business had a balance sheet of around £45 million when he arrived - we'll see what the newbies are buying.

I agree, I don't think we will ever know the true extent of the damage of the KA reign. Does anyone know if the staff have been paid yet?

Go on, I’ll bite.... validate your statement

Bit like the loons who think ED barely gave the club any money and it was all "creative accountancy" or the even bigger loons who claimed Gartside was stealing money...there will always be these claims there will never be any evidence to support them and there will always be huge holes in any argument....

Shall we just wait until the accounts come out before having this conversation (yet again)?

If not, I'll precis it for you in 3 lines:

"He's a robbing bastard in my opinion"

"Prove it"

"Don't need to - it's an opinion"

Just an opinion based on the issues I have read about, the issues maybe wrong as was stated a few posts back about the youth team forking out for their own transport. But there are issues that i haven't seen to be proven otherwise, like staff wages being paid late or the training ground being shut due to a lack of grub and fuel for the generators. All these little things build up and the negatives far away the positives. In a situation like this, nobody will look at anything over than the negatives and I am not saying he hasn't done any good for the club because I am sure in some capacity he has done some good things, but those positives are completely outweighed by the negatives in my opinion

Saying something is an "opinion" does not negate its libel....

The problem is that the media appears to have an agenda and is only reporting all the negative things and not always factually.

Everyone knows that the club has serious cash flow problems and if the money isn't there to pay the bills and its a juggling act, one example being no money to pay for the fuel. The article that caused outrage about the players having to pay for their own is an example of twisting reporting. Players have always had to pay for their food to avoid the tax implications of it being a taxable benefit.

Its a mess, KA is absolutely not a saint but what we should be seeing is balanced reporting so people can judge the situation correctly rather than just taking the view of a few individuals that nailed their colours to the DH, Supporters Trust flag from day 1

But the training ground wasn't on lockdown. On the day the BN ran that story, nobody was due to use the centre until after 6pm, so the gates were indeed locked.

However, at 6.30pm that night, players changed in changing rooms that were on lockdown before a game was played there under the floodlights that couldn't be powered due to having no fuel.

If in doubt, don't believe the BN.

and this is another reason why i enjoy coming to this forum because facts are stated. I get the media has a job to do and will spin any old bullshit, but prior to a few weeks ago, my thought process was built on what was being said in the BN and twitter

What positive things happening at Bolton should the media be reporting?

Fair point there doesn't appear to be much at the moment. Doesn't excuse giving a one sided view though for so long but I guess that doesnt sell papers/get clicks.

Pretty sure I read on here that some time ago (pre season?) Iles told a poster on here that he didn't care if he got a press ban

It was me.
I spoke to him at length before the pre-season fiasco at Athy Colls.

I said that if he continued to constantly err on the side of negativity towards the owner and the club in general, that he might find himself getting banned.

His response was "That might not be a bad thing"
