Same. Can't say I feel the same about the chanting though. We've discussed it before, and I'm sure for many it's just an initial, alcohol driven bravado like response to the shock of what's unfolding. I'm sure many soon sobered up. Anyway, it's certainly horrific footage.

That one does my head in too.

They're not making a pigs ear of them as you put it. Some aren't being run well, others are. Exactly as happens with any party. Which adds to my belief that councils shouldn't be run on party political grounds. Simply needs good people with knowledge of a particular area that they can bring to work for the people of their town. Reform will gain more councillors here in Bolton, but not enough to become a majority, so will have little opportunity to change anything.

Whilst this is correct, there are contradictions the PM has made, which can't both be true. This apart, he said yesterday that he hadn't misled the house even inadvertently. When clearly he had. Robins wouldn't/couldn't go into detail about the last bit (communication between Starmer and him) under advice (no doubt legal) as he clearly is considering some sort of legal action. No way is this sorry tale finished yet. Moreover, the whole approach of pressure from No 10 flies in the face of a process driven ethos which they claim to follow. So, so many bits on pieces that don't ring true. Starmer is finished. He may not resign, but sooner or later he will be replaced. Probably by his party, or by an early election. He isn't going full term.

Think the civil service as a whole.

It is very clear what SS intentions are with regard to how we play. He laid that out very recently. He is almost certainly going to continue to play wingers, which leaves a slight defensive weakness on the left, as we all know. If that works out well for us, then great. If not, then SS will have a question to answer. Either way, we'll have to strengthen next season.

Christ, if we're worrying that much, when it's very much in our hands, then something is amiss. Of course we all want to qualify for the play offs, but if we don't from this position, then we simply wouldn't have deserved to go up. I'm not massively confident of beating Bradford, but because of our inconsistency not lack of quality.

I'll check the scores and result once. Wouldn't watch one of our rivals.

Can't help chuckling at those emojies. Anyway, wish him well. -
Doesn't need a prosecution. Look at the circumstances ffs. As I said, the DVLA has form. Yet when you re-apply for a license, there are months of delays. Another inadequate state body.

It would take too long to watch! 😀

He uses more human shields than Hamas. I'm principle, you're right, but it conveniently happens. He wanted Mandelson, and pressed ahead, making it clear that this was his appointment. Putting pressure on others, while keeping his plausible deniability. Maybe, in this instance, he should have double checked. There are serious, separate concerns over him raised in Maggie Oliver's recent interview too. Then there is the fact that no. 10 was informed of the failure of the security vetting anyway. He also suggested that other PMs and ministers should resign purely for being investigated over an allegation. He's blown his own party away. As for not being able to call him a liar in parliament- probably for the best to keep a semblance of order. Nevertheless, parliamentary privilege allows an mp to make an allegation in parliament about other people. A bit of a double standard there too. Can't remember which one, but one mp alleged something about Farage a while back, in parliament. Farage legally couldn't do anything, but challenged the mp to repeat it outside parliament. Needless to say, he wouldn't. I'm fascinated by parliament, and some of its traditions and quirks, but it has started to lose its traditional soul and become increasingly maddening to the public. I've always said PMQs is a waste of time, and it's getting worse, and now this performative crap is spreading. Filibustering, avoidance etc. No wonder it takes so long for our system to get anything done: image over substance.

He's a cunt. Pure and simple. Will get in bed with whichever lot he thinks will serve him best. A two faced wanker, who lied to me in person. Piss and fire..

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g5xee663zo Absolute cuntery. Not the first of its kind neither.

Exactly. What will be interesting to see, is how much the Green (terror) Party, and the Lib Dems get checked over, given their lesser Party status. Away from the media though, the labour machine will be going all guns blazing for Reform as the local and national elections draw near. Given their recent form, and indeed that of Reform with Lowe, it will become nasty.

Did you have crisps, twists, or sticks? Got some of all three! Haven't tried the hot stuff- wasn't about it on crisps; chip shop curry wasn't great, but the usual flavours were good. Will try the hot and odd flavours on cooked spud wedges- seems to lend itself better. At least in my head.

I went to Bolton Snooker Club on the odd occasion. Like you say, we couldn't play as such, but enjoyed it nonetheless. Relaxed, fairly quiet, and a beer or two. Robbie Savage was in there on one occasion. Propping up the bar, with a pint of mild or Guiness.

Someone needed to put a light under the commentator, and thaw the bugger out.

Well done. What time are you aiming for next year? -
They've been quite up front over Tice's tax situation. Whether folk think it's right that using avoidance schemes is allowed, is for each person to decide. Starmer was clear with his use of a scheme too, and it was all done with in no time. Presumably there will be the same level of ire towards him as with anyone else. Of course, if anyone is found being naughty and evading tax is another matter.

City were also wide open at times. Chance you take between keeping it tighter, and being more inventive up top.

My lad bought me a pile of unflavoured crisps etc in resealable bags for Christmas, together with little jars of flavourings. Called "Spud Dust". Add your own and at a quantity you prefer. Some are good, others aren't. Enjoyed them though.

Very good.

Warhurst. Maybe Ian Marshall too, but not too sure.

Quite a few reasonable comments there. Obviously plenty are upset, but then again plenty of ours were at times.
