  1. A house on Bury Rd, as of early Jan, had not had bins empties for 13 weeks!
  2. Wouldn't disagree- at times he has the touch of my garage door. However against Lincoln he showed what he can do; good run into the channel to help make the 2nd and a good cross for the third. I just hope he can prove he is more than a battering ram- he's taken a lot of crap (physical and in the press etc) for the club.
  3. Can't help feeling years of dealing with high balls and being clattered have taken its toll on SKD. Perhaps the change will perk him up a bit- remember his first game as capt. against spurs last year- he was excellent. Moreover Coyle can't really do owt else other than back him 'till he's seem them play a bit.
  4. We'll see how bowler friendly the pitch and conditions are now. Hope I'm wrong but I can see Smith and Kallis putting us under some pressure
  5. If you can get childcare vouchers- do so Used to pay ?30+ per day. When the little 'un left, we got a breakdown of costs since he'd been there: over ?11,000! That's a lot of season tickets.... In fairness though, good nursery.
  6. Agreed about Klasnic. One striker, however unlikely it may seem, might just be available on loan for rest of season. Knows where the net is. Desparately needs games. Michael Owen? Que abuse
  7. If Campbell does play, and Wanderers are ahead at half time, will he piss off home and walk out on them?
  8. Stoke might beat them to Ruud Van Nostril Boy
  9. The ground is valued at ?41m. Not much more than what it cost! Don't know how accurate this is, but, on face value it doesn't look good Then again, based on how the Glazers are 'raping' Utd, maybe it's not so bad
  10. Lets see if he turns up to the next couple of games, we could also employ Andy Todd for the day to greet him
  11. Makes sod all difference when it takes off on it's own when parked up with hand brake on.
  12. When the roads were bad it made sense not to send bin wagons round- they're fookin heavy, usually automatic, meaning can't be slowed using gears, increasing skid risks; and they don't want to risk paying out shit loads of compo. As a 'fellow council employee' however I do believe that a large number of the binners (not all) are wankers of the highest calibre. Workshy, militant fucktards. Once gave a day's pay up to strike in "sympathy"- what did they do- came in on the following Saturday for time and a half plus bonuses to make up lost day. Thanks- CUNTS.
  13. Upgraded to HD before Christmas- it's great. However they were offering free box when you also took movies. Didn't want this so just went onto their web site and upgraded box to +HD. It did it no probs, just installation fee (?30) and no movies necessary! Worth trying different things as their arse doesn't seem to know what elbow is doing.
  14. What will happen should they get to Wembley- after all he does have form against Villa in semis
  15. He'll get to know his players quickly though-not a bad time to have them, potential new manager syndrome
  16. Been on SSN and radio 5 continually
  17. Physically fine- wouldn't come to the game though (his first ever!). This after watching Superman over Christmas and believing Lois Lane had corpsed it in a car in the San Anderas fault!- result- doesn't want to be on his own and pukes up upon going to bed But hey ho, stuff the Arse and 2010 might just take off!
  18. It's getting costly though- not the tickets; but watching the car slide down a snow covered hill while picking up my mate for the cup match. 5 year old in back on his own and it ploughing into a garden wall!! Once the snow's gone- no probs!
  19. Sean O'Driscoll at Turf Moor now- only compensation terms to be agreed. Wonder how many Donny Fans will be making hatred videos? Will Burnley be pilloried for poaching a decent manager from another club mid season?
  20. Only 3 minutes?- well over 5 for me: "perss one for this....,you are in a queue, your call is important to us...." Hopefully it's because they were selling a few.
  21. Evans is assistant manager Davis was Burnley's fist team coach- hence Wigley's departure
  22. If press reports are to be believed then there may be some baggage
  23. BSA had no high level mamagement experience either. Neither did Mark Hughes before Blackburn. True Coyle is a risk but, in the way we are a feeder club for players to bigger clubs, we may well be for managers. Wigan too employ young, enthusiastic managers trying to work their way up, and do o.k. Very few axperienced guys out their, and none give great cause for optimism. I'll settle for Coyle
