As for them needing to be at a training session- FFS, start pre-season training a day early then give them the fun day off! OR even start and finish the session early. Or is this likely to conflict with modern scientific training methods; with the lunar orbit screwing up fitness programs. Paisley was from a different era, sadly. Players in the main were half decent, well paid but not devoid of any notion of reality like many now seem to be. Not sure he'd be the same now.

If everyone has been clamouring for a singing section, then why does it need such discounts ? People will buy one anyway-won't they? Or is everyone else subsidising it? As for decent value- maybe in comparison to others, but ?400+ is still a lot of cash for many folk- a more even distribution of the discounts would be fairer.

I'm hardly one for sectarianism either; however these are indeed the times, and, as other threads have shown, people are sick and tired of anti-English/British sentiment. A friend of a work colleague went into SUBWAY the other day; opposite McDonalds, near the uni. Asked for bacon on a butty. The reply: We don't do bacon as we are halal- we have to take into account the area we are in!!

We did it for them last year too: 2-2 It's about time they coughed up some dosh for a couple of decent players for us, by means of a thankyou. It's easily done- sell Vaz Te to them for 10million.
