This is spot on. And I know that many believe that Burnley are their bitterest, but don't be lulled into a false sense of security, I went out with a lass from Blackburn and her father and two brothers hated Bolton, they knew they couldn't live with us but in the 1970's especially, gave it a go a few times

no ground worries me today, but that season in division 4 some of the clubs were angling for a result, and there were some right moody places, Swansea, Cardiff and Carlisle for some reason

Agreed, I wonder if you ca get someone back fro a season long loan if you have injuries etc..am sure you can do that under certain circumstances?

Baptiste won't be bought by Blackburn if they, as predicted, fail FFP rules, as they will have a transfer embargo placed upon them, so either he comes back here or another club shows an interest in him

Spearings best asset is pointing to positions that other players should move to, because he won't move there himself. Chungy doesn't want to follow the opposition midfield runner. Danns did bugger all. Ream isn't a left back, Mills is a penalty and a sending off waiting to happen. Beckford and C Davies csnnot play together, it has to be either Mason and one of them. Herd had a solid game, Dervite gets better with every match, M Davies is still our best passer and forward thinking player, but just call him Mr Glass, Lonergan made a coupl of good saves, but should have stopped their first. All this critique and yet that first half was the best I have seen in a long time

Perhaps the problem with Dougie, is that he seems to be watching a different match to the rest of us: Post match Bolton Manager Dougie Freedman on draw Bolton boss Dougie Freedman: "I thought the performance was good and we were very brave on the ball. But we could have created one or two more opportunities and that was what was lacking from our performance. "They asked a lot of questions of us defensively but I thought we coped very well. Did we do enough to win the game? Probably not. "But I don't think we deserved to lose. We came up against a very good team, especially away from home."

From a OWL ad can't disagree with any of this: Amazing how different both sides are from the meeting at Hillsborough where we got hammered. Wednesday looked rock solid just lacking a killer ball and maybe a decent striker. Bolton looked completely rudderless, abysmal and on another day they'd have got a hiding.

Just an opinion, but we have the most average central midfield, no idea going forward, too far adrift from the front two, defensively allowing opposition midfielders to run past them, first instinct is to pass backwards or sideways, passing in general just poor
