Leyton Orient (H)

We need to bounce back on Saturday after two defeats.

With Santos out I think Toal will show us how good he can play in the middle and with Sheehan hopefully returning we should get a win but then again it is Bolton Wanderers.

Never in doubt

Really, a better team than Orient would have beaten us on that second half display.

You don’t get promoted conceding 2 goals every week.

Our home goals against column is very poor.

Couldn’t believe what I was watching in that 2nd half.

A wins a win but just something doesn’t feel just right at the minute.

Big 2 aways coming up.

You do if you score more!

Strangely, after our previous "poor run" I think we won a game or two narrowly, and then went on to a fine run.

Lots of games to come, and there will be more "upsets" for the top teams, just like today.

A win on boxing day would be fantastic, as Lincoln are doing OK, and it would set us up nicely.

I think irony is sometimes difficult to detect in an online post.

Thought we only win with Williams & vic starting

Did notice the clubs social media comments sections were quiet at 3-0 by 3-2 everyone is shit and should be fearful of their jobs.

2nd half wasn't great but at the end of the day we won and we're 3rd with a game in hand on 2nd.

Looking big picture I'm not too worried

28 years watching Bolton. Can't remember an opening ten minutes like that, brilliant.

Forrester was good, he'll slot In to geth's position comfortably through Jan.

Good 3 points, 3rd spot and on to the next. And it's Xmas. Happy times.

Aye.

Let's see where we are after the Christmas and New Year games.

Good effort from Orient, decent team. Their right winger looks useful.

Darren Pratley is 38.

It should have been more than 3 by half-time. We shouldn't have let Orient play their way back into it. We certainly shouldn't have been reduced to hanging on.

But we were ... & we did.

We get the same 3 points as we have for any other win.

Not adding a pile to the goal difference is a shame.

I take your point re today but we lost the other two as you often will if you concede 2 goals a game.

I'm discounting Bristol Rovers, as we had a man sent off.

We also beat Stevenage 3-2.

Of course if you concede, then the win is harder.

However, I reckon today was a touch of complacency creeping in after the start- and as I said before, and Evatt has now stated, we didn't react well enough to their changes.

For that, I still feel he has to look at his own methods as well as that of the players.

Perhaps an example of where an experienced on head, off the bench, could be useful. As they saw with Pratley.

Can’t wait for the highlights. Couldn’t get logged in to the game until about 15 mins in :rolleyes2:

1st 10 minutes brilliant. 80 mins,not so good.

After 2 defeats, 3 points was all that mattered and I'd have taken a 90th minute offside penalty.

Job done, move on

There’s clearly something psychological with our lot

After losing 2 you find a way of winning, we did.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong, I don’t think a better team than Orient would have beaten us, I don’t think there’s something psychologically wrong

There was a 4-1 win at home against Hull about ten years ago, we were 3-0 up in about 8 minutes. Mark Davies scored a screamer. But in 45 years of watching us that's pretty much the only other example I can bring immediately to mind.

3-0 up and lost games:

Horrible day. Memory says we conceded 4 in the last 20 minutes

Despite being a great start, scoring so many so early often lets a bit of complacency set in, it also absolutely kills the atmosphere. But we got the 3 points which is what matters. Onwards and upwards

Dion Charles scored. Me and the lad jumped up and both shouted ‘Who’s the Daddy?!’

Wins a win.

Thought Pratley was brilliant for them.

I hope the comeback annoyed wellens the manc twat
