This angle shows a different picture, clearly offside. PS sorry about the quality.

It’s not a different angle, it’s a different frame. That’s after it’s left his foot.

Anyone but us that's offside.

Ball has still been played on that one.

So far, the best is the initial photo, which shows their player in his own half.

The ball has to have left his foot or he's still in possession.

Don’t quite agree with that Casino. I think the first 30 minutes showed we were well up for it and would have done what we needed if the other game allowed. It’s a massive positive for me that we started the game how we did, we were good enough to blow them away when we wanted to.

I said during the game that it really looked like the intensity dropped second half. I know it’s not a new thing for us, but it doesn’t surprise me that Evatt mentioned about them dropping their levels after hearing the Derby score, it’s human nature.

I meant once there was nowt to play for..clear we shut down at ht

Then pride kicked in

All irrelevant anyhow. At 2-0 I wasn’t bothered other than losing for confidence as you say.

I did say worst case today was losing from 2 up

Id have whipped 4 off at ht

And?

The previous photo shows the player in his own half, and the ball a bit blurred, which would suggest it has been played.

The latest one shows the ball clearly away from the foot, so it is not at all definitive, as it needs taking back further.

There is no clear evidence as yet that it is offside.

The frame which most likely shows the moment of the pass, shows the player in his own half.

It gives me a morsel of comfort that if we’d beat Pompey and Shrewsbury we’d still be in the play offs.

The popular belief is that after seeing Derby's H.T result we pretty much knocked it on the head , so flipping the coin we would have won if it was in our hands at H.T ( I think )

I know the intensity might have dropped after half time but the way Peterborough ripped us apart (in what was also a meaningless game for them) was very concerning.

The pace they have up front could be a real problem on that big wembley pitch, should we meet them.

I thought Jones and Cogley were both very poor. Cogley in particular is too lightweight, yet Williams (who was actually playing ok) was subbed. Weird it's always a left back sub. I'd be tempted to play Jones at RWB for the next games.

Aye.

In the end 5 points is not exactly fine margins so you're looking at 3 draws that should've been wins

Fair play to Derby as well. 4 games to go we were wondering how many points they would drop to open the door for us - draw away at Wycombe and then did the job in the 3 games they’d have expected to win.

The away game at theirs looks like the key game, assuming we would have held onto the lead yesterday should we have needed to.

Ah well, all happens for a reason and it’ll feel all the better celebrating in the sun at Wembley.

3 game season - the rest is all what’s, ifs and maybes.

probably finished where deserved, so let’s focus and give 100% to this play off lark.

Yup. Let’s get this done.
