When Rioch came to Bolton in 1992 we won three of our first give games then drew 1 and lost 5 of the next six. A very similar thing happened when Big Sam arrived in 1999. It is very early days and SS

For those slagging off SS, you are barking up the wrong tree. We can only even get in to the foothills of judging the guy after he has had a transfer window. He has been dealt a talented but very one-

Too soon to plan for Wembley?

It's a bit late if you've not booked your accommodation 🙅

Eh? It's London?

May not have been the prettiest, but plenty of fans have said how Derby have got through games by being dull, but effective.

Well, we were effective, and deserved winners, showing some class at times, and grit at others.

We'd all have taken that before kick off, so we'll done to the lads, and the coaching staff.

Bring on Tuesday.

Barnsley really were shite. Obviously we give them a goal but Shirley we’re at Wembley

Except that one 😁

Brilliant win, massive save from Baxter. Charles was immense, the most important player in the squad in my opinion, chased everything. Get an early goal on Tuesday to settle the nerves then shut up shop.

Baxter take a bow

What a difference he makes

FFS missed the goal

power cut in the Street

least it was 3-1

We don't shut up shop very well imo.

Big goal at the end, made up for KD's one on one miss, some other chances too and 1 big save from Baxter near end, they will have to come out and open up needing at least 2.

Third goal made by Jerome. Blanked the keeper from tracking the ball without fouling him. Great experience to do that. Would love to be in their dressing room now and listen to the banter.

Just watched the match in an Irish bar in Barcelona with the sound down.

Things to take from this:

We surely can't fuck the tie up from here.

Guinness travels well

Cosgrove is an uber cunt and needs putting to sleep

Fukin horrible place Barnsley matched up with a horrible team, that Connells a cocky shit and wants putting in his place on the pitch and mark my words some player somewhere will hurt him one day.

Not the best performance from us but who gives a fuck.We deservedly won

Santos was a man mountain and Baxter made 2 excellent saves.Hope Cosgrove gets fucking nailed on Tuesday

Superb backing from the fans coyfwm

Doesn't make it untrue, just old.

Booked mine back in December.

Great win, margin about right in the end, great performances all over. Different mindset and low risk approach kept the ball out of our box for 75 mins till they scored and had a go. Not fancy but not risky either and every bit as effective.

Hands up to not always being Santos's biggest fan but he was truly immense tonight, just a proper defender that headed it and kicked it a long way all night.

Baxter a bit dodgy with his footwork first half but huge saves when it mattered late on.

Tempting to leave one on Cosgrove on Tues but a sneaky one, not worth doing something daft that would cost a place in final

I'm happy we've proved we're miles ahead of these cloggers in a game when it really matters.

Very satisfying

That they gave us 2,163 tickets yet had at least the same empty seats right in front of them is shocking.
