I disagree we are definitely not bullies. That's derby. We outplay teams when we win. We lose local derbies. We can be outplayable or shite but I dont think we've bullied a single team.

The term flat track bully's as far I was aware doesn't actually mean bully, it just means a team or sportsman that beats everyone around them but struggles when it matters most. Bit like England.

You are right we definitely aren't bullies, we are the best footballing team by a country mile in this division but for a mixture of reasons we just came up short a few times. All that's been done to death and I'm sure we could all argue the reasons we came up short till the cows come home.

On our day, as they say, next week Oxford shouldn't be able to live with us. Big open pitch, Paris all the space in the world and Dion and Collins getting in behind. It's absolutely Taylor made for our style of play.

...but as we know, our defence sometimes has a different script.

Sometimes. We've just got to pray we get Barnsley away Rico and not Barnsley home.

It'll be reet won't it.

just had a look at the map, one half side of the upper to go at now or can we have more?

I'd say that's it looking at last year's final. The only remaining spaces were towards that section at the top nearest half way. What was last year - about 34k?

I expect we can have this section, if we need it. But we won’t.

My mate already in that section he’s box holder and the club allocated the tickets. £84 each.

Not sure what this means

I think he is now on content moderation

Gonzo would never be content with moderation. Have you seen any of his vids?

Your mate has been told to pay £84 for an upper tier seat? He’s been mugged off.

We made it round to about block 521 last year

Deffo. Apart from those 2 goals the other night I've not enjoyed a single bit of this season.

It's been fucking stressful and riddled with false dawns and anti climaxes.

I'd love to wake up a week tomorrow and it's all done and dusted.

...and then again, if it's another Wembley display like that against Plymouth?

I know I'm labouring the point but nobody will convince me outfield shirts should be anything other than 1 -11 it's just the way it should be.  5 subs is too many and who doesn't love an outfield player having to go in goal, always an absolute thrill when that happens!

I miss the guys running on with a bucket and sponge, can you imagine a physio doing that now.

I was in a full block 522 last year for the game. There was another block or so to my left.

I think we ended up with some fans in block 523/524 on the day.

This was my view, what a day!20230402_145700.thumb.JPG.33f7b191b3e2c66d32f951bcc8109c1d.JPG

The game should be, fundamentally, the same as ordinary mortals play. Each thing introduced at the elite level which cannot be replicated on the local park takes it further away from the people watching & playing it.

Goaline technology I begrudgingly accept. VAR ... no, not really. But once it's there it should be used as intended & as stated ... to correct 'clear & obvious' errors. If it needs a committe, with access to cameras from 6 angles, slow motion and still frame, with computer generated lines and takes 5 minutes to decide if someone's fingernail was ahead of someone else's elbow & still be controversial then it's not what was intended or offered.

It seems it's used to find a way to decline a goal, not to accept it. Referees have almost opted out of making decisions. When fans no longer celebrate a goal & wait 5 mintes to see what happens even the technocrats should recognise it's killing what the game is about.

If it takes a panel using all they have more than a minute then it's not 'clear & obvious' & the on-field decision should stand.

Partially agree and better refs and linesmen down the leagues would be a great improvement but near the top where the financial fate of clubs can be decided on a bad decision - and they have the money to do it - going full on tech and automating the measurement would sack off the committees, the debates etc and could provide a correction to the original decision within 10 seconds if required i.e. clear and obvious.

Cut out the idiots off site and just have a ref supported by tech.

Computer says pen. End of.

The other problem is that the public debate is exacerbated by the pundits who can't even agree among themselves. Was watching the Old Firm game sending off where McCoist was saying it should be yellow because the guy's momentum carried him into the Canadian lad so not "intentional" and Sutton was saying his foot was up and he was out of control. Who the f*** knows what he intended or exactly how slippery the grass was? Fact is he clattered the lads standing leg.

All the more reason for automating it - even if it means shutting the pundits up.

Last year we had over 36k on but went round to 521

must be about 23k sold now and I expect another 5k

If they bring in VAR nationwide I am out.

Don’t say things you may later regret. Show ambivalence about it by all means but “I am out” is probably something you’ll end up eating your words.

I think we will be lucky to make block 516 tbh

I suspect there may be a few people waiting for front rows, so might sell a few in blocks 513-515 if they open up, but not many.

There is a possibility me and my mate could get in a box for the game, but there's no guarantee yet, should I just buy a couple of the cheapest tickets available now, just in case we can't get in the box, or do you reckon we'll be fine if we leave it for a few more days?

We won’t sell out; might even be POTD

Is the playing surface at Wembley really that much bigger than other football league  pitches, or is it some sort of urban myth?
