Deffo. Apart from those 2 goals the other night I've not enjoyed a single bit of this season.

It's been fucking stressful and riddled with false dawns and anti climaxes.

I'd love to wake up a week tomorrow and it's all done and dusted.

Life’s too short to think about ways I might not enjoy watching my beloved team.

I’m just loving the journey at the moment, let’s see where it takes us with or without VAR!

Crazy talk to dredge up every change in football; subs, shirt numbers, as if we should rewind half a century!

I know I'm labouring the point but nobody will convince me outfield shirts should be anything other than 1 -11 it's just the way it should be.  5 subs is too many and who doesn't love an outfield player having to go in goal, always an absolute thrill when that happens!

I've been waiting for loft to get his digit out. Am I reading it right, there's only the 5s left. It says in a pale blue dot "available, not matching filters". What are the filters ? I'm an ST holder.

Yep. PJ Trophy wins are all well and good, and it was a great day but this is serious stuff and means more to the hard-core than just a day out. Took me ages to get over that Tranmere defeat.

I don't care how we do it, just win. Please. 🙏

I feel duty bound to point out the 7-0 v Exeter and 5-0 v Oxford as surely being enjoyable?!

We had a run of three away wins at Wycombe, Charlton and Shrewsbury where I really thought we’d shown enough quality and professionalism that we were going to comfortably finish top two. Charlton away in particular was a really resounding win.

Yes, feels like 1995 though over a year between the two Wembley trips rather than a couple of months. Nerves a week before, don’t know what I’ll be like next week.

For every 7-0 and 5-0 we have a 4-1 at Blackpool, 4-0 & 1-0 Wigan and defeats in whoppers like Derby and Pompey away.

There's no Maine Roads or Hull aways in there.

Flat track bully's all day long us.

Just hope none of it counts :(

Maybe Var would have awarded Santos goal in the first leg, i didn’t see much wrong with it myself.

Swings & roundabouts

It isn't though is it.

One game it  might be the difference between winning 3:1 or 2:1 another game the difference could be between losing 1 nil or drawing nil nil .

Var is shit it was supposed to be for clear and obvious errors by the on pitch referree. It has morphed into something completely different and has ruined the game for the fan who makes the effort and puts their  arse on a seat in a stadium.

Offside by the width of a toenail after 5 minutes of deliberation by god knows who sat in a room miles away . That ain't the way to officiate the game

Sorry gents. I meant blocks. Have the seats further down all gone, and what are the matching filters? I’ve got the tickets anyway now but I’m still curious.

Absolutely. Would love a repeat of our last Wembley outing, but winning by a scabby goal off Jerome's arse would be fine.

I was a big advocate for technology in football . But all I ever wanted was line cameras . Was it over the line or not .

Stemming from the game against Everton, The goal at Villa and the non-goal against Germany . I had high hopes after the World Cup in Russia as i thought it worked really well . But this spawn of satan VAR we have now  is insane .

Its not what anybody wanted , fuck the clear and obvious , fuck taking it out of the hands of the refferee , fuck drawing lines to decide if a toe is offside and fuck ruining scoring a goal .

This isnt cricket, tennis, rugby or gridiron , where is could work , this is the Worlds bastard game . We are getting into the realms of Havalange insanity and its fucking ruining it.

As for the Final , we should piss it , but Im already on pins , one fuckin ridiculous decision could define a season. If they bring in VAR nationwide I am out.

Love/Hate the play offs , for every Preston & Reading there is a Watford & tranmere . Not sure the ticker can take another one.  still not recovered from Bristol City in 1986 .

I'd have loved goal line tech at that Everton game and I think VAR tech is great BUT the problem is the humans and the rules not the tech. Offside for an inch is bollocks - offside for a foot is fair enough - but wherever you draw the line players will push the boundary. Seeing as it's measured in pixels they should just agree a number of pixels that isn't taking the piss for offside and agree a degree of of directional movement towards a ball that isn't taking the piss for handball and measure the movement of a striker's leg towards a defender to determine a foul or diving. If we're going down the road of measuring with technology they should just go the whole hog instead of this unworkable halfway house. It works for goal line technology (either it;s in or not) and equally they should take the decision out of the ref's hands for offside and pens etc by measuring the pixels. No argument if done properly. Nobody whinges about goal line tech so just do it.

The game should be, fundamentally, the same as ordinary mortals play. Each thing introduced at the elite level which cannot be replicated on the local park takes it further away from the people watching & playing it.

Goaline technology I begrudgingly accept. VAR ... no, not really. But once it's there it should be used as intended & as stated ... to correct 'clear & obvious' errors. If it needs a committe, with access to cameras from 6 angles, slow motion and still frame, with computer generated lines and takes 5 minutes to decide if someone's fingernail was ahead of someone else's elbow & still be controversial then it's not what was intended or offered.

It seems it's used to find a way to decline a goal, not to accept it. Referees have almost opted out of making decisions. When fans no longer celebrate a goal & wait 5 mintes to see what happens even the technocrats should recognise it's killing what the game is about.

If it takes a panel using all they have more than a minute then it's not 'clear & obvious' & the on-field decision should stand.

I don't think we'll have the demand for any more blocks in the upper tier to open looking at that. Given membership is needed to buy a ticket for any match, open sale this week is only for people who've never bought a ticket so I can't see there being a flood.

Still good though given the prices and short turn around.

Have we had sales update since the 20k because looks plenty more than that looking at those maps.

I disagree we are definitely not bullies. That's derby. We outplay teams when we win. We lose local derbies. We can be outplayable or shite but I dont think we've bullied a single team.

No, and that was really early on yesterday when it had just opened to members. Looks near 25k.

Add a couple more over the next week and nudge towards 27k is more than respectable

I reckon a good few more will sell yet if a couple more blocks open. If people are in the gods, they want to be near the front of it.
