What happens if we sell less than expected. Do attendance people get angry, does it ruin the day? It’s actually a serious question.

Wasn’t an issue against Preston. What we take will have no outcome on the game whatsoever in my opinion

I agree, much of this will be for social media one-upmanship.

Mate of mine went watching his (then) brother in law play for FGR against Tranmere at Wembley, FGR were outnumbered in stands to a comical degree and they still stuffed them.

There’s a big discussion about whether ‘attendance’ means arses on seats or tickets sold.

The oldest debate since do you put peas in lobby.

I don’t care if there is only me on our end as long as we win

We had 20k on v Tranmere and they had about 8k.

We got beat and they got twatted all over Wembley way.

Chris Malkin the wanker.

Think there was 20k on in total the game my mate went to, and FGR had about 1.5k of it 😃

Well just had a discussion with looney Craig on facebook (I know) and because my view is different he’s kicked me off😀

So I believe as we finished higher than Oxford in the league we get to choose our kit which will presumably be white. Will they then let Oxford play in yellow? Could be well dodgy on a sunny day.

We'll wear white, they'll wear that blue away one they have.

The colour of the kit will have absolutely zero bearing on the result. Anybody who thinks it does, is a bit silly

He's a fucking bi-polar odd ball with delusions of grandeur.

He should try washing his hair, having a bath, and stop supporting the likes of the EDL

I'm really not wanting to be drawn into this attendance dick swinging nonsense, but someone in the pub has just tried telling me we've sold 32k. Keeping in mind he's a day tripper that hasn't been all season but I was ridiculed when I said that was bollocks.

So........how many are we on so far?? Anybody actually know?

24.5k in my itk / making it up opinion

Any footy pitch has got to stick within a certain length and width. Wembley is set at the higher end in both

Yes

think its so Long and so Wide

like a BBC

Scum had it wide

when they had wingers in the 90s

I'd say I'm a bit of an attendance nerd tbh, and it's not your enjoyment of the day that's affected by a low/high attendance as that's all to do with the result really. It's more that energy at the start of the game and during it when you've got impressive numbers, which is why I track it.

Look at Barnsley and Portsmouth at home this season, just having big home fan numbers gives everyone a spring in their step before the match. Must translate to the players to a degree at the start of a game.

Perhaps it's a way of preventing disappointment if we don't sell shit loads.

An "I told you so" comfort blanket.

Trouble is, that would also provide for a moan at our shite support! 😀

"Subject to availability, supporters with a registered account on 7th May 2024 will be able to purchase a maximum of six tickets in one transaction, providing the booker has all other individual Customer Numbers and surnames to hand or the rest of the party are already in their network."

Does this mean I need to get the other people I want to come along to register so they get a customer number?

Our far superior following worked wonders against Tranmere

Games against Tranmere and Wigan don't count as normal games 😀  Throw Bury and Blackpool into that scenario as well.  They all love the underdog/upsetting the bigger club role.  And FWIW we had a crap turn out for Tranmere, different times.

Local rivalries are a different kettle of fish to playing teams we don't normally give a thought to.  Whatever the result on Saturday, thank god we don't have the local rival factor to contend with.

That’s what’s been confusing everyone - you can reassign to yourself for the remaining tickets

Wembley Park is pretty much next to the stadium. Only bar is Boxpark and I think Plymouth had it last year? In fact have pub allocations been confirmed yet as they were a pile of shite last year.
