Are we becoming the manure of the EFL ?

I’m not getting the Dempsey wank fest that is happening. Yes he was our best player when he came on and showed a bit of grit but it was only a few months back he was having a shit time and was very poor. Now after a decent 45 mins people are screaming out for him to be captain. 🤷🏻

As for some of the social media posts stating that Parky was a better manager than IE because he took us straight back up (with a squad of premiership and championship players) do these people not remember the dire football he served up?

I agree he tried. If that’s the bar though, it’s a low bar.

Exactly - some folk just need to STFU and let our football do the talking.

If we'd have won our players wouldn't be stood on an open top bus singing Oxford get battered.

That's what people are arsed about.

Proper weird behaviour if you ask me.

Anyone on the 8.35 & 19.31 which both had delays I’ve just got delay repay off Avanti @royal white

What you’ve found this season is we’ve been very disliked by other fans, this is a combination of our fans giving big licks on how massive we are & with some of Mr Evatts comments after games

Andrew Broome has a lot to answer for!

Their fans are weird. Gobbing off left right and centre leaving the ground when they should have still been inside celebrating with the team. Came across as a proper set of classless twats

No, I was booked on the 2110 (I think) but managed to get on the 1853

What exactly is the problem with people having a laugh at our demise? So what? It’s not as if there aren’t Bolton fans who gloat when we beat other teams - or write off other teams as being crap before we even play them.

When it’s our turn, we have to accept it and hope next time we’ll be better. But there is zero point in worrying about it.

It's the players,  not fans.... couldn't see our lot doing the same....we don't even have any beef with this lot....

Look forward to seeing them getting pummelled every other week next season. Classless.

8.35 wasn’t you? Doesn’t have to be both ways

So fucking man up then. We lost to a better team. So what?

I've got to say that with respect that is a very strange response to a very reasonable/uncontroversial post.

Oh yes 😂 I’ll check

Very wierd.  If we'd just won something, even if it was against Wigan, Burnley, Blackburn or Man U, the last thing I'd be doing is trying to rub the other team's nose in it.  Never given it a thought to gloat rather than celebrate.  Pathetic from their fans and players, maybe we'll remember that for next time we play them.

Which will be the season after next if we don't go up next season

Very odd behaviour especially from a team we beat 5-0 just a couple of months ago. They get one over us and all I have seen from our supporters is messages of congratulations to them.

Anyway, I guess we can continue to expect this, being such a large fish in a small pond, everyone wants to get one over us and fair enough, at this present moment, we are a laughing stock.

Put football changes quickly and it will be our time again soon and these small clubs won't be reveling in glory for long.

I'm surprised they could come up with a song that wasn't 'yellows'

They managed to rustle up 25000 extra fans so let them have their day in the sun

Could do an Ipswich next season or easily a Rotherham

Can't say I care either way

how long was the delay?

we had 20:15 booked but was there earlier and they were all delayed

dont remember scanning

Made my mind up as I left the ground that I was avoiding all social media for now (many weeks).  Nothing going to change my mind, in fact stuff posted on here from Twitter reinforces my view.  Why would I put myself through reading all that shit.

Wasn't going to come on here either, but relented and started reading posts Sunday - much more reasoned than I imagine Twitter is.  Fair play to everyone.

All still very raw.  Been watching for over 50 years and that is in the top 10 worst ever performances.  Even a chance of being in the top 5 and we still only got beat 2-0.

Found the Oxford fans a bit strange all day.

Not like the usual footy fans we  see week in week out, there didn’t seem many groups of lads from what i saw.

Plenty of Pimms & poshness.

Yeah the groups we spoke to were very much southerners looking for a day's entertainment, rather than fussed about the football. All pleasant enough but I didn't meet a single Oxford fan, they were all Chelsea, or Tottenham, or Liverpool, or Man U, just having a day out.

As a result the atmosphere at the start was definitely all Bolton, but no way of sustaining that when we played so badly.

Something's not right.

Whether it's simply disappointment or something else, we don't know, though my gut feeling is that he's going.

I’d bet my house they won’t be doing an Ipswich.

Struggling beyond Watford and Stoke

Sure we've had lots of stinkers particularly during our recent demise

But when big prizes are on offer its much harder to take

Most of the time you can make up for a bad performance the following week

Been like a life-raft this week this place, spending time with fellow sufferers. Don't think I've ever spent as much time online.

Like a victim support group 😁
