At the risk of using facts to present an alternative point of view, they were 3-0 down after 10 mins at our place last season. 

And according to this link, they only scored 3 goals in the first 15 minutes of games in the whole of last season

Statistically, minutes 16-60 are where they’re ‘supercharged’. 
 

Actually think Wellens has done a decent job there. They’ve had a really ‘soft’ set of pre season fixtures though. Intrigued to see how quickly they can get up to speed tomorrow. I expect us to win.

Close nervy first game, half our team are new and need to gel and it won't be overnight.  That's all this kiss-of-death is saying, let them build their confidence quicker without any negativity from the fans, we can do this season together.

I think that’s guaranteed if Johnson stays fit he’s best out & out stopper at the club by a country mile.

I think we’ll also really notice the balance of having a left footer in that position too. Hopefully he can get up to full fitness and starting ASAP. I know we’ve got options but a settled back 3 of Toal, Santos and Johnston, playing week in week out together should be a huge upgrade on last season

Good shout as Toal struggled being a right footer which wasn’t his fault.

It would be wonderful if the team gel from the off and we manage to buck the trend and get our first league win away at Orient in 30 odd years today.

Can't imagine that we'll be up to full strength yet, but whoever plays, our appalling record against them at their place should be enough incentive to put in a massive performance.

Last January they passed it better than us, created more chances than us, scored more than us and were the better team thanks to a complacent performance from our boys.

As long as we see passion, urgency, concentration, effort and a bit of quality from the lads today I'll be happy.

I watched a bit of the Super League games and the cameras were a bit better but still occasional buffering. Pile of shite compared to the proper Sky channels. Hopefully it’s only tonight that I’ll need to watch it on there. 

Nice to see a few of the residential doubters having a change of heart in the past week and now re-feeling the love.
