If we get a result the usual suspects will say 'why could we not play lie that against Huddersfield , Shrewsbury and Exeter'

Not sure on that. Think everyone would be buzzing

But why do folk have to nail colours to the mast and refuse to budge and inch?

Am I convinced Evatt will take us up this season? Am I balls. But I'll support him and the team for as long as he's here. I'll call him out for some stuff and praise the bloke for other stuff.

Just being balanced innit.

We have ball bags like Masi on the back of a good run still crowing that he's got 6 games left.

We've got fans refusing to go to games until he's gone.

We've got fans barely celebrating a goal because he's still in charge.

We've got fans kicking off because it took us 64 mins to score on Saturday.

We've got fans who can't wait for the first mistake or misplaced pass or dropped point to stick the boot in.

Anyone that isn't like that is accused of being happy clappers full of toxic positivity.

It's all just pathetic.

I am a ball bag because despite giving Evatt chance after chance to build something here he keeps going back to a style of play and team selections that are basically baffling and he keeps returning to three forwards and two in midfield.

Substitutions are as baffling at times and so predictable...........Yes we got away with it against teams that will get relegated or finish bottom ten......This squad is as good as any in this division  and we are scraping against the bottom half dozen teams..... The 6 games are because i no longer think he can get results against teams like Birmingham and even Stockports of this league,

No i do not slag either Evatt or any players on a Saturday and i have only ever walked out of two games in my life

Stoke at Wembley and Leicester when Savage  sent my blood pressure to another level

We all have opinions and this is a forum and as such is not better to voice them here and not on a Saturday afternoon

Maybe better keep your personal abuse to yourself.

whilst if we don't we've got folk who think we ought to lose there anyway

madness all round

I'll just be happy if we turn up and then smash Peterborough at the weekend

0-5

250/1

A consistent criticism of Evatt, & for good reason, is that we don't turn up for the big games.

This is a big game.

We need to turn up.

I think we’ll change our playing style like we did at Barnsley in the first semi final at their place.

It worked when got the ball back to front quickly and turned their defence and we certainly have the attacking players to do it.

It remains a mystery why, having done that, we then reverted to type & fckd up the next two games.

It’s a free hit In terms of if we lose we lose, I’m not for one minute thinking we can’t win this… perhaps free hit is wrong description… I’m going and if I did not think we had a possibility of getting a positive result I’d not be travelling.

Know what you mean, one we might not go into with the greatest of expectations but also one not to be getting the bedsheets out over if we lose, unless it's an absolute capitulation.

The difficulty is where it sits in these runs of games, just after a run of ones we ought to have won and at the beginning of five testing ones. What happens on the back of tomorrow, in the next four, (assuming here Rotherham will be off) will be more the reason for judgements, one way or the other

It’s not pathetic gonzo it’s just called being a fan and we all have different views. I’m not Evatt’s biggest fan myself but I want Wanderers to win every game they play and if that means putting up with his sometimes unsavoury antics so be it as long as he gets results because either way he’ll be gone (hopefully 🙂) before I will.

@Jol_BWFC do you think this will be on at any of the London whites haunts tomorrow or shall I bring a stick. Hotel has sky but no idea if it will have red button

I’d bring your stick mate, to be honest. We normally have to check in advance with a preferred venue, to be sure they’re showing it. A few of our lot are going tomorrow, so no London meet up arranged.

With Champs League and championship fixtures too, I think the chances of finding somewhere showing Brum v Bolton will be limited!

All the stuff I listed is pathetic.

You've literally just offered a balanced view.

Standard Bi-Polar Ways, innit?

You're either in the toxic positivity camp or the positively toxic camp. No grey areas 😉

I'm more than happy to budge - I'd love to be back to that confidence I once had in the bloke. Don't see it happening at the moment, doesn't mean I wouldn't welcome it.

I agree with much of what you say mate - it's shit when folk are 'in camps'. We all want the same thing, just have different opinions of how we get there.

Slagging each other off for having differing views isn't my cup of tea. I hope the glass half full brigade have the last laugh.

For the record, I thought Mulhall, McGovern, Neal and Coyle were great appointments at the time. I am categorically not qualified to judge if / when to sack a manager and who to replace them 😁

There is group that sits just behind us at home games that remind of people on here.

Certain players can do nothing wrong, others can do nothing right. Their views are in no way affected by what happens on the pitch.

JDC on Saturday was getting his usual belters on Saturday for not getting fwad , taking on his man and hiding in a central position , the fact he was playing centre half did not alter anything.

Collins has been off the pace this season, but never a murmur.

If Toal is fit be interesting to see what IE does at the back Tuesday. Williams v Villa had as bad a game as I have seen but was excellent on the right Saturday. So Toal back ? Then who plays RWB ? Santos, GJ and Scone pick themselves IMO .

Midfield Dempsey Sheehan plus who ? Is it time to see Lolas ? Is CMG fit yet ?

Upfront ? God knows which 2 but think time to try different combos.
