You got lucky then, we got turned away from at least 4

We had a whippet & 5 homing pigeons with us to help us blend in…..

Had no issues last season, free to go to any pub we chose near the station…

Had some bother in one but it was Barnsley mongo day out. Prick who tried to shake my hand who started it nearly caused a scene again

Barnsley town centre is quite vibrant, nice to see these days, but they wouldn't let us in Spoons last season cos one of our kids had a Bolton top on.Plenty of other options though.

We went in pub that had a sign outside ‘home fans only’ but there were folk in Bolton shirts sat outside drinking.

Git turned away from an Irish pub opposite Spoons

Lost 3 in a row against these men. Need to put that right. I’d take a draw right now

1-0 Burstow

Come On You Whites!!!

Tykes lineup for Fleetwood had only a few changes from league games.

Fleetwood scored right at the end of each half. One direct from a corner.

Yep, with hardly anywhere boarded up. no dossers -homegrown or imported - hanging around, a busy market & plenty pubs & cafes, Barnsley kills the myth that online shopping has finished off town centres.

plus, with the ground being practically town centre & a scenic train journey, it's one of my favourite aways.

I sold my homing pigeon seven times last year.

can't see us winning this, hopefully I'm wrong

enjoy to those that are going

Third game of the season away twice in my memory at Barnsley Our Prem season in 97/8 after we had been promoted with them ... lost 2-1, Beardsley scored his first goal for us. Then in 81/2 we lost 3-0 (third of four straight defeats to start that campaign) and Peter Reid sustained a serious injury

...long overdue third game of the season victory at Oakwell it is then.

Remember the premier league one well.  Sat in open air behind the goal.  Great scenes when Beardsley scored but as per usual we couldn’t hang on for a point.

Enjoy all and bring the points home please

3-1 victory,    a Burstow brace and a sheehan free kick seals the 3 points

A decent ref today will be a help hopefully Luca Connells customary early bad challenge will get a yellow for once rather than a telling off can  see them targeting the wingers today early doors

We never get a referee in our favour; all decisions will go against us and like you say they will be kicking shit out of us and our first foul will get a yellow card

In jan23 we won3-0, the ref sent their player off, first foul , gave us a penalty and was awarded mom on here.

Well after Wednesday night we are safe to say we are now due a sending off for the opposition!

I think we'll score. That's the only feeling I've got about this one.

And their keeper dropped one in front of JDB to put it in the empty net.

We didn’t actually play that well in that game, we just got the luck of them having the worst start ever in a football game with a red card, penalty and horror goal. We did score an incredible 3rd goal though in the second half.

went on Mogga tours for that one. NYD? Top day out

My first time here since the mid 90s. It's not a good record. 2 defeats, one draw and one banning order.

Thought Erhahon might have started today .

I thought he might stick with CMG rather than Gale and maybe have Morley in the middle instead of Sheehan

Every other position is as I expected

It's a attacking line-up, and I guess it makes sense to play to our strengths
