Might be an Idea on early kick off not to let 50 Wigan lads roam about in Westhoughton after the game all afternoon.

The Met bring in help from a number of other forces for these type of days

You'd expect them to be able to accommodate these, but I suppose they fear they may need more officers at our place for a 3.00pm kick off, which is also closer to that at the theatre of nightmares.

Maybe some are being drafted down to London for some other protest again?

I believe GMP would do a 3pm kick off if BWFC would pay for extra policing..I remember back in Eddie's time Bolton went as far as sending match tickets to Glasgow Rangers for a pre season friendly but then cancelled the match when the potential police bill was received

It’s a bit of a moot point this.

There’s a handful of L1 games chosen to be on Sky at 12:30, every week.

Why would it not be Bolton v Wigan? - it’s a no brainier for sky.

Cardiff game the same, nothing to do with policing.

Just happens to fall handily for all the authorities - but obviously not the fans.

I was amazed Blackpool wasn’t 12:30

Ah I don't see it this way. SS has changed the mentality so much - when we do go behind you can see heads aren't dropping. We might lose by an odd goal but I just can't see this team getting the hammerings that Evatt's lot did.

I'm going for 2-1.  1 down and Dalby and Forss rescue the win.

I hope you're right. A lot of people saying it looks very draw-ish elsewhere, but whilst I thin we have better players on the whole, they have the streetsmarts and shithousery that seems to be essential in games like this. 

Nobody will hammer us this season.

The only goals we conceed are shitty wank flukes or silly mistakes.

I think we need an Erhahon type to get in their faces - He provides a little more solidity and ball-winning ability than AM and Sheehan being in there with Simons doesn't lose us any ball-playing ability 

I like Morley, but we have different options better suited to this game in my opinion (as long as we're happy that Erhahon can keep a lid on things!)

I agree Erhahon on the left because Simon’s is much better on the right side but though I’d go with Sheehan over Morley I’d prefer the extra striker instead of a No10 which just isn’t working so I’d go either Forss in there behind Mason or Mason in behind Dalby. We just need some goals especially against this lot.

I think the #10’s not working because of who the #10’s are as opposed to it being a flawed system. 
 

Forss could be a good shout, but I do think Wigan will have a go at us and Forss being more of a forward than a midfielder may see us suffer in the middle of the park
