Just waiting to get into a job. Went on latics speyk to see what they were saying. Fuck me if I didn't think I could hate them anymore than I do but I hate them more now. They genuinely believe they as a club are at least on a par with us. What a set of deluded fuckers they are. Apparently loads of young uns are coming who dont normally go away and season ticket holders can't get tickets. They really do make us massive.

Christ I hope we dick the cunts

Frank Bullet is a character hey 😆

I'm not sure it's height and physicality we need this weekend as much as it is just having some bollocks

They don't appear to me to be a big team

Does Cogley have then though? He's definitely our weakest defensive player and can be targeted.

Similar with Randall. Not a game for either of them

This wigan fan reckons he has south stand tickets our club are giving away

If he gets hold of another 4 freebies he'll have enough for each one of the fingers on his left hand.

Why does he, "feel like putting a complaint in" for getting his hands on two free tickets?

They were given an allocation, simple.

Not sure what he's complaining about?  Has a league game ever been played at our respective stadiums without some complimentaries given out, for whatever reason?  If they happen to be given to someone who has little interest in going to the game, and they know a fan of the away team, where are they going to end up?  I imagine most Bolton fans that "got their hands on 2 tickets" in the Wigan end in April, had more sense than to post the seat numbers on social media.

More likely that their kids play for a team in Bolton or go to a Bolton school.

Glad we’re splitting South Lower instead of rolling over again. Hope that change is reflected right the way from stands to pitch.

Apparently they were complimentary to NHS members and it’s summat that a lot of clubs do.

Some have gone out to schools (mainstream and SEND), foundations, football teams, etc in the local area and environs. There might even be some Wigan fans amongst the parents of the kids.

Not sure what the big deal is?

Hopefully the kids will have a great day out watching Wigan getting battered and we get a whole host of new fans for the future.

Its funny how some fans can just make themselves (and therefore their club) look like dicks so effortlessly.

I had comps at City in their end when they beat us 6-2 (Anelka/Wright Phillips etc) but completely forgot to register a complaint.

Yeah there’s a few companies who are partnered with dozens of clubs. Blue Light Tickets, Tickets for Good, Tickets for Troops, and Sky VIP will have a few too. Will only be about a dozen each, mind.

Those will be the season ticket ones so can’t really go in the South tbf

The real noncery around attendances isn't people counting empty seats, it's folk who actively want to police how many can go and watch a football match. Or the configuration of how the away fans are sat.

It's a sporting event and entertainment, the more who can join in the merrier. If that includes free tickets to good causes then brilliant.

Another dozen or so freebies and he can take all his siblings. A proper family day out

Apparently someone on their forum thinks we are similar size of club we double their fans every week how are we similar size.  We really need to win this and put them back in their box

What do you mean by 'clever' on it?

There'll be transparent conversations between club, family, agents, etc. The club want to lock in an asset and there's no doubt he will feel a sense of 'owing' the club something. Important to remember he's a bad tackle away from having nothing and becoming a forgotten man, so he will want to get this sorted quickly.

I'd be amazed if he doesn't sign a contract, on decent money, massively incentivised based on appearacnes and promotion, with a sensible release fee. And this may be the sticking point. Fans often moan when they consider we dont get fair value for players. But we're also in a spot where we need to lock an asset down. So a fee of £3 million might be what we need to agree to in order to keep the asset.

I'm saying this out loud now so because when he inevitably leaves us to move higher up the food chain, plenty will moan about the fee received. We can't have it both ways.

He'll play Premier League this lad - just hope we can go up this season and keep him for another year. Be amazed if he stays beyond next season regardless of where we are.

Oh. We'll beat Wigan this weekend!

i’ve been saying that since is second appearance this season.

Hes different gravy..

I still can't believe Evatt chose to develop an inferior and younger player for another club (Murphy) rather than Conway.  I know his move to Crewe probably benefitted him, but it hastened our/IEs decline too.

Conway would never have fitted in......He does not get injured enough

If you're 20 years of age, crowd sizes apart, you can possibly see their point.

Would a 20 year old Bournemouth fan think they're bigger than us? Some might I suppose.

Any one got a spare in east lower before i buy one?

He only needs one ticket to take his sister, his cousin & his girlfriend.

If you are a 20 year old wearing pie-stained Lonsdales whose only escapism from the malaise of Wiganesque despond is when this match comes around then I suppose you build your own myths and legends.
