Port Vale (H)

What could possibly go wrong? Despite Darren Moore’s assertion that they are better than their league position suggests, all the signs are that they are there for the taking on Saturday and I can’t imagine any of us would not be disappointed with anything less than 3 points, especially after our recent heroics.

As the old adages go, it’s 11 against 11, any team in this league can beat any other team on their day etc etc…but we don’t want to think about that do we?

What we want to see is an improved performance, a professional attitude, a clean sheet, goals and a statement win that sets us up for the theoretically tougher run of games ahead.

Bring it on.

We could have been 2 down early on but for TSL.

All’s well that ends well and all that.

I think Cozier-Duberry should get into the England World Cup squad

Down the Middlebrook Uncle Albert ? ☺

We were poor for the fist 25 mins and could well have conceded. Confidence grew after the 1st goal.

Sissoko must be a nightmare to play against, however for all his entertaining trickery, he's not great at kicking the ball.

All good across the back. Sheehan grew into the game and bossed it in the end. ADC is a joy at this level. He will not play in div 1 next year.

As others have said, dempsey was the polar opposite of what Randall serves up. Everyone has seen enough of JR to know that he hasn't got what it takes.

We have a deep squad and healthy competition in several positions.

We were purring for the last 30 mins or so. Confidence is high. Happy days!

Defence and goalie really good, cissoko had a decent game and as for duberry….

we would have lost that game last year, but digging in for the first half hour, taking over and then some great attacking goals.

subs coming on that don’t reduce the level and give the opponents different things to think about.

bradford should be a cracker

As others have said, first 25 minutes P.V were the better side, but after the 1st goal it was men against boys. For 65 minutes I thought every player played their part.

Second save was decent. First was routine

Very tight league ATM, but there are no stand out big clubs, i.e Birmingham and Wrexham with their money.

We are now 3/1 favs to win the thing. Going up thus season is a must!

Yes i have no doubt about that....I  am never a sheep i say what i think

All positive tonight but looking back on those 5 1-1’ draws. At least they weren’t losses and kept momentum, but for a couple of wins in them and we really are swinging dicks. Will put it down to the overhaul of the squad which was always going to take time to settle in the first 10 games. Safe to say we’ve settled the last few games.

Away form (and defending) is still a concern for me

It was said the season before last it was a weak league and we should get out of it, however that played out this is weaker, a real hotch potch.

It's there for us for sure if we can keep ACD and Burstow for the full season and neither gets a significant injury

Today was a bit of a banana skin to be honest, and I half expected us to draw or lose, but the display was decent after a shaky start, signs of confidence in the squad and togetherness, we're getting the winning mentality now, whilst early pacesetters are starting to slip and show fragility in their sides/weaker squads

Get a couple more quality additions in when the window opens, then we are going up, we are going up as champions

Absolutely nothing to fear or hold us back in this division

When we move up, we won't struggle if we have funds and further additions, we'll go up again

Enjoy it while we can

I'm planning a crowd fund to buy ACD when we go up.
