mannyroad58 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 FA CUP away to Everton 0-2 down Won 3-2 and if my memory serves me right i think OC played a little part in the comeback
Zico Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Swindon they got 3-1 up with an away goal from Fjortoft with 30 mins left some come back that was if I remember right: McGinlay, Mixu & McAteer? against us 3-0 up v Watford at half time, lost 4-3
Supermario Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 About 4-5 seasons ago when we beat Chelsea 2-1 from 1 down, i think Crespo scored? Anyways, N'Gotty powered in a header then Pedersen out paced liek everyone and deflected it on off John Terry in the last minute ha
marple whites Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 And one that ended in glorious failure - Stockport Away a few back - 0-3 at HT, equalised with about 5 mins to go, then they scab one in Injury time. Gutted at this game, went with my mates who are Stockport fans. Nothing worse than having to go for a few pints after the game with them. Tossers.
postman pat Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Has to be Reading due to the venue & the importance...& the fact it was so very un-Boltonlike!!!
marple whites Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Seem to remember being 1-0 down to Preston on a grand national day and then scoring 2 in the last couple of minutes to win it !!
chief wiggum Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Swindon they got 3-1 up with an away goal from Fjortoft with 30 mins left some come back that was if I remember right: McGinlay, Mixu & McAteer? against us 3-0 up v Watford at half time, lost 4-3 And 3 -0 up at Chelsea with 20 mins to go, lost 4-3
Tyldesley White Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 And one that ended in glorious failure - Stockport Away a few back - 0-3 at HT, equalised with about 5 mins to go, then they scab one in Injury time. I remember that one, Ian Marshall scored a towering header in front of us, i thought he'd broke the net, everyone one went mental then they scored Was it the same game McGinlay was in the away end?
jules_darby Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 some time between about 89 and 92 (any help statto's?) Crewe at home Me and the old man sat in our ST seats in Manny Road South - always the same (few) people sat around us, all recognised each other week in week out in those days... 2-0 down at half time and we were shocking Random bloke sat behind me on his own...never seen him before (or since) turns to me during the break and says "don't worry kid, we're gonna win this" - he seemed absolutely convinced...me and me Dad thought he was off his tits Anyway, we won 3-2...think my namesake got the winner Never saw the mysterious bloke again

bolton in bedford Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 1-1 against West Brom at home in the 90's sometime. They scored in about the 92nd minute and we equalised a minute later, West Brom fans were still celebrating when we scored. I think it was Coyle who got our equaliser.
Tyldesley White Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 The Blackburn 4-3 game, i remember saying to a mate at half time (3-1 down) this game is there for the taking, Blackburns defence was shocking, all over the place! The rest is history

exiledwhite2 Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 FA CUP away to Everton 0-2 down Won 3-2 and if my memory serves me right i think OC played a little part in the comeback Prob my favourite But Reading, from the moment before they take their pen, has to be the winner... it was destiny that year, but at that precise moment I was absolutely bladdered, in the hot sun, thinking what the f?ck has happened here? Southampton in the cup about 1989, 2-0 down at home I think, drew 2-2... Paddock went from utterly morose to rocking in about ten minutes, that was quality
jeep Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 7.10.1989 Wigan @ Burnden. Missed the 1st 7-10 mins as was finishing up int King Bill. Got in and we were 2-0 down. Ended up winning 3-2. Philiskirk (pen), Darby 2 Attn: 6,462 Happy Days
Leigh Exile Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Reading and Everton were up there. Hull City away on THAT Friday night, a game we had to win
victor meldrew Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 northampton away 1989. 2-0 down ht. won 3-2 , john thomas scoring a hatrick(i think) any way equalled club record 20 games without defeat next game svt v torquay. new record.
G/L WANDERER Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Northampton away 1989 2-0 down at half time,Bolton lads playing football on the pitch at half time then winning 3-2,i think John Thomas scored the winner from about 30 yards out
SatanGreavsie Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 In the manner of a couple of earlier posters I'd have to say the 18 years, almost exactly to the day, between the Aldershot game (17/05/87) which saw us relegated to 4, and the Pompey game (07/05/05) which saw us qualify for Europe. I was at them both and let's just say the contrast was marked
bigj Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 3-0 down at home to notts county after half an hour drew 3-3 Yes i was there all lads fucked off to king bill and i stayed... (fuckin idiot)
tkonion Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Reading and Everton were up there.Hull City away on THAT Friday night, a game we had to win I was starting to think I was going to be the first to post about one of the most exciting matchs i've ever seen us play.
