On that theme, how about a film I nearly watched.

Tried pulp fiction last night (again I think).

Turned it off, can't get into it.

PF is one of my favourite films. Unlike a lot of films almost every character in PF is a major player in an above average story. But like with me and Oasis (and later the Gallaghers), utter rubbish. You can't make someone like something if they think it's toss.

Pulp Fiction always makes me feel hungry. So many food references in that film!

Have a Royale with Cheese

Yes! And breakfasts and pop tarts and burgers and five dollar shakes and blueberry muffins...

Meanwhile I just watched London Has Fallen and I think it has succeeded in becoming the worst film I’ve ever seen. “Go back to Fuckheadistan”.

Downloaded Thor Ragnaroc and The Post, wife chose the Thor one, utter shite.

Shush you, its amazing.

Korg is my 2nd favourite character in any of the marvel films after Deadpool.

Possibly I love it as I'm a nerd but it's the funniest film I've seen in a very long time.

We struggle finding anything on both Sky Cinena and Netflix

Chances are if we do find something then we have to rent it for a fiver

I’m not sure the last time I watched a film on Netflix, think it’s just box sets

It's one of them ones that doesn't really make much sense on the first watch. Just watch it and try to enjoy the dialogue. Second watch makes perfect sense and then after that it just gets better and better. One of the most quotable films I've ever seen (The Princess Bride being number one)

The monologue by Christopher Walken is simply outstanding.

" . . . up his ass!"

It looks....not shit. That's the best we could've hoped for.

Anyway, Cloverfield 3 - utter mince

Dunno

Rogue One was the best of the new ones but I wasn't expecting much from it

maybe trying to do a main characters back story comes with far greater expectations and therefore more than likely to end in dissapointment, and, it's only the trailer...

This new Crocodile Dundee proposal looks a right load of old bollocks.

Its not a film it's a advertising campaign for Tourism in Australia

Cloverfield 3 - utter mince

Saw it yesterday:  A genre I like and thought it had some good moments of body horror and a decent idea;  I like how they've marketed this franchise and it adds to the whole feel and allows immersion.

A good cast too but it came across as a bit of a jumbled mess.  Not sure if that was intentional or not, given the content?  Probably not.

The Irish fella's 'gags' were shite and totally out of place - ruined it a bit for me.
