Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Barlow Moor Road?

Anyway don’t listen to Gonzo on the weather; he thinks it’s to do with star signs

Typical Cancerian attitude right there

Aye near where it crosses with Wilbraham  Rd (Morrisons)

Aye near where it crosses with Wilbraham Rd (Morrisons)

Used to live off Wilbraham Road, back in the day (when Morrisons was Safeway). Not far from the cricket club. Amazing seeing Chorlton change and become trendy - largely after I left! :)

It's a nice spot but I got a bit fed up with the trendy, Guardian, beard and roll up vibe that was ever increasing.

Used to like Sat pms though, down to Barbikan for a top notch hot dog then in the bars for a few scoops and a perv :)

Folk were paying nigh on quarter of a mil for an old red brick terrace - mental

Get anyone moaning up firefighting on Winter Hill, we had seven months of Winter ffs...

There's a dearth of lemonade and catpiss bitter in the shops, but you don't hear me whinging - I just buy 'Lynx' instead (and Sprite :))...

And Sweep, do you like cheese on toast? Well try (toasted) cheese on crumpet, magnifique! (My own twist is those with a drop of Encona Hot Pepper Sauce, and for added peasantiness, made into a sandwich with a slice of unbuttered Warbies).

Mrs loves em, we have loads.

Supposed to help you sleep - must say that I quite like the smell of them but haven't put a bunch in my pillow case . .  yet :)

I've put a drop of lavender oil on the pillow case before now. Dunno if it worked or not really.

If you haven’t already crudely written ‘Aaron’ on the road sign with marker pen then I’ll be very disappointed.

Always worth a try things like that.

I reckon having a hot bath with a tied bunch in there would work better - I say that as I used to know a Thai massuese ( :))  who used to get her girls to forage certain herbs in the jungle and then use them as a hot and wet press for a variety of ailments.  Sorted me right out!

I mainly stuck to Dids but I like(d) Chorlton Green

Always found Chorlton hit and miss, mostly miss as most bars tended to be either full or twatty types up their own arse or rough

Must admit, it’s been a god send this dry spell given I have no roof on the house at the moment

However it’s still a bit too hot for me

The daughter is like a gremlin in this heat and I’m not far behind her. Three showers a day at the moment (no wonder the waters fucked)

This is holiday weather, not what you want to work in or just day to day

Low 20’s is perfect, 30+ and we don’t have the set up for it

I was in work yesterday and the aircon had packed in, no windows to open and 300 people and computers on on one floor. I was fucking drenched all day, drank 4l of water, got home and had to have an hours kip.

Deffo not set up for it.

Worked from home today though so it's all gravy!

Most don't have the clothes for it - what a set of scruffy cunts we are as a nation when it's hot...Some of the sights.

No excuse, how much can a plain polo shirt and pair of golf shorts be £30 max?

Lob into the mix shit tats and inexplicably still pasty skin (or lobster red) and we have a reet set of undignified twats...

It's hot, not arsed what folk look like- stay cool as best you can.

Seems to be plenty of butterflies around

To right, came across a small one with light blue colouring fluttering about in the beer garden today.

My neighbour has a moth trap. Reckons he's caught 30 species so far.

Dunno ifor that's good or bad, but seems decent for one garden in Breightmet.

Beech Road in Chorlton and Burton Road in Didsbury have the lot, a fantastic selection of eateries and bars to suit all tastes...me and Mrs ST just love it particularly now the Metrolink has been extended that way

Aye, lived near burton road for years and always preferred it to Chorlton

I used to live round that way. Chorlton is the worst place in manc in my opinion. Asked badly drawn boy if he really was a Bolton/man city fan ha
