TOMolloy Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 Anyone who thinks he's out of his depth in the championship is an idiot. 2nd top scorer in the league pushing 20 goals. Quote

passmosster Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 The third was as good as you'll see. He'll be playing for Portugal and some will still be going on about him slipping at Blackburn on here. A big loss. Quote

Didledee Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 (edited) Was used sparingly and didn't really get a proper run in the team, yes he did use to slip a lot and got the nickname 'Bambi', but he did have ability, had a very good run in Okocha's last season, remember when JJ came back from African Nations with his new afro hairdo, him and Vaz played well together, one of my fave performances of them together was against Sevilla at the Reebok, he got goals in the league and looked a real threat. He also had his injuries which didn't help at all, remember him having a great Pre-season under Sammy Lee, one of the stars of the Peace Cup, linked so well with Anelka, he made the first team against Newcastle, with Dioufy only making the bench, he get's injured during the game and well that was it for him at Bolton. Whites man Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 It seems like everything he hits at the minute is going in. And nobody can say he wasn't given a chance at the Reebok. Quote

Once Sam brought in Anelka, his chance went. Thought he'd looked o.k. prior to this, but needed to grow up. His time away, and lower down seems to have done this. Good luck to him Quote
Garrp Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 A few more goals and the suicide squad will be slating Coyle for releasing him. Quote
no balls Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 A few more goals and the suicide squad will be slating Coyle for releasing him. Add Joey OBrien in the mixer and it'll be a mass suicide by whining. Quote
Eddie Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I hope he carries on doing well. He apparently went from 1 grand a week at Barnsley, to 16 grand a week at West Ham! Quote

Carlos Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 He's on the radar for the Euros as no one else from Portugal is scoring. Quote
Whites man Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) Well, CR7 obviously. Crikey, I thought only Diddles on here would have called him CR7. Edited April 16, 2012 by Whites man Quote
DazBob Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 What's so problem. It's the sort of things kids and dicks use to identify players. eg 'TH14'. Is that really that much easier to type than 'Henry'? Quote
