fatolive Posted December 8, 2012 Posted December 8, 2012 I don't think it can be compared to beadle/ penk type pranks, as to be fair, the end result in most of the beadle/penk/ edmunds gotcha type wind ups was a feeling of relief for the "victim" , and a usual statement of " i'll bloody swing for him" etc about the person who stitched them up, then a laugh about it. this was different in the fact it left the victim worrying and possibly traumatised and feeling like she'd be under the public spot light as the one who let the future queen of England down. Could be a lot of stress that, and finding out it wasn't really your car a careless crane driver pushed into the docks pales into insignificance in comparison. if it was live and just went to far that's one thing, but to pre record then approve for broadcast is terrible Quote

burndenpaddock Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 I think the difference between beadle, penk etc is that they have never impersonated high profile personalities to obtain personal information about someone in hospital, they generally do 'comedy' situations. What these two have done is classed as fraud in this country - if I were to ring a bank and impersonate someone to get personal data, if caught I would be arrested and charged with fraud. Its the same with personal medical infornation, it should have stopped when they were put through to the ward. Im amazed that their lawyers cleared it. They didn't intend to cause what has since happened but they are responsible for it. Really don't understand anyone that sees it any other way. Quote

The very same hospital management who failed when caring for a potential heir to the throne to protect their patient. It's either a lack of personnel, a lack of training or procedural inefficiencies that caused this death, not 2 fuckwit Aussies or that poor receptionist. Either the palace security or hospital management are to blame. All the Aussie fucktards have done is highlight a potentially disastrous lack of security that could have even led to information compromising the security of the nation. Imagine if others had made the call and the information had led to the kidknapping of Kate ??? And the hospital management want to take the moral high ground !!!???? Is it just me ???? Quote

Anyway, aside from unofficially keeping 'White Australia' in full-effect - they also have the cheek to be giving the 3rd degree, or even sending back, good and honest Brits. I ended up watching that last Saturday night/Sunday morning whilst I was unable to move and the rest had gone to bed. Anyhow, they kept going on about this pink stuff. Forgot the name thry gave it but anyway, I presumed it was a drug and so became interested. Turned out after a bit of googling later that the current drug of choice in NZ was phet. Another reason I'll not be emigrating any time soon. Quote

I had the misfortune of spending 4 hours in there for having the wrong Visa. Fuck me they don't mess about. I've had softer arrests. I should have had the full fat visa, instead I had the lite version; apparently having a criminal record isn't a pre-requisit anymore. I was a phone call away from a very expensive flight straight back home but having the number of the CEO of the rugby league world champions and Australias top club worked a treat. Turned out Big Brenda was a season ticket holder of the same club and took great delight in waking said CEO up and chatting to him on the phone. She stopped fingering me, gave me back my papers etc, let me repack by suitcase, then let me go on a 2 week temp visa that had I violated would have resulted in instant imprisonment. Quote
