I'm not a fan of what I'm about to say because it's used unnecessarily at times. But Oldham is a proper northern club. Good to see them back in the league. Chuffed for 'em.

Madine subbed on 46 mins.

The shit cunt

and his replacement scored the winner

he's looking good for some sort of promotion bonus and PL wage mind

My only interest in Madine now, is whether or not  BWFC get more money if Cardiff are promoted.

Hopefully his team get promoted and that means we get some extra cash. The thought of him playing in the PL is mind boggling though. He was key to how we played when he was here, but lets not pretend he was or is anything better than an average player (and that's being kind)

I presume all those who reckoned us selling him was a guarantee of us getting relegated, have now rowed back on that point.....or are some still willing to stick to that statement?

It’s a very good question Sweep...

all things considered, this West Ham banner yesterday seems a bit OTT

they single handily won the world cup in 66 and its been a hard act to follow ever since

Funny as hell listening to Gary Neville blasting the Arsenal players for barely trying.

Citeh are very good but this Arsenal team are a bunch of fannies with no backbone

I loved Wilshere when he played for us but he’s such a petulant, waste of talent

Enjoyed seeing them surgically dismantled and their revolting fans starting to leave with 20 mins to go.

It starts at the top and filters down through officials, players and fans - whingeing, whining cunts to a man. I have never met a Gooner who didn't fit this profile and I am looking forward to catching up with one in particular this week.

After the Muamba thing, no doubt most Bolton fans have a soft spot for their North London rivals and I enjoy watching them play these days. Great brand of football. No doubt Spurs fans will be happy tonight.

I disagree. He was being sensationalist. They lost a league cup final. Disappointing sure! The end of days he was bleating on about? Not for me.

He is a knob and a failed manager who loves sticking the knife in

I respectfully disagree

The Arsenal players are in a cup final at Wembley....they trotted about like it was a training session

I get that City are different level but the likes of Wilshere acting like a spoiled child that has had his toys taken away was embarrassing

I don’t like GNev but his comments were consistent with his thirst to win as a player - he’d never have rolled over and whimpered

Greater context; Arsene Wenger has stayed too long for most Arsenal fans - they’ve gone from elite to not being able to compete. No wonder they’re angry. And I don’t like the Mardy twats

Arsenal have slipped every year behind in terms of quality

Must be so frustrating being a fan

Fair enough mate. I do agree the wenger boy is on borrowed time though. He can’t deliver his guaranteed top 4 anymore it seems

he was on borrowed time even when he won the FA cup twice in a row

their fans have watched them fall behind as the likes of city, utd, liverpool and chelsea up their spending - they still buy good attacking players, but the midfield and defense is lightweight all be it with a nice touch

it's all relative like, most would love to be in their position, but when it's £1k-2k for a season ticket, you expect to compete - they still deliver the odd aesthetically pleasing spanking like they gave Everton recently, but more than ever, when they need to compete, they disappear

Think the truest thing rat boy said was along the lines of Arsenal have been shit at defending for 10 years, but at least you could admire the football they played. Now they dont even play good football.

I know it's all relative and it must be frustrating at times being an arsenal fan; but perhaps they should step back occasionally. Won cups and qualified for champs league for many a year; wouldn't mind being that bad for a while.

Not really. PNE are now an established Championship side who are pushing for the play offs. Yesterday they had 11,500 again'st Ipswich, but often struggle to get much above 10,000 at Deepdale. They have a hugh catchment area with only Blackpool as local rivals..

I'd argue Blackburn are also local rivals, given it's closer. Being mr pedantic.

Arsenal won the league for the third time in succession in 1934-35.

Brentford won the second division and were promoted, along with Bolton.

Next season Brentford finished fifth in top tier (London's leading club), with Arsenal sixth.

I think PNE also do a free kids ticket with adult ticket while our support is average at home theirs is worse.

U-11 season tickets were free with an adult one.

U-11's pay £2 a game and 12-18's pay £6 IIRC

Quaver legs got another 70 mins for the U23's today and doesn't sound like he's injured again yet either which is good news. Lost 1-0 at Crewe
