Though we could have had double (and more) if we had sold him in the summer of 2011. I think the point was more that there is no point saying Ream cost half of Cahill, therefore Ream wasn't worth the money, because Cahill's value was distorted by the fact he sold with 6 months left had we hung on to Cahill till the summer Ream would've been £3.5M more expensive than Cahill, though he's clearly not a better player
