How many times have Birmingham dodged the bullet of relegation, just don’t kick on

They were in the play offs until they decided to sack the manager to bring Rooney in

And you have to call them Wayne Rooney's Birmingham as no one would have heard of them if they didn't mention his name

If they can't hang on to home-produced players like the Bellingham brothers they are unlikely to progress. Selling clubs usually struggle.

Every club is a selling club to be fair with maybe the exception of Real Madrid.

They were never going to hold onto the Bellingham brothers, let’s be honest.

Selling clubs don’t struggle as long as they sell well and reinvest the proceeds.

I can’t claim to know how much they’ve made from the Bellingham sales (plus add ons, sell on fees etc.) but if they got say £30m in total for 2 players (1 of which was never going to stay at the Championship level for long) then that should give them a massive leg up in that league even taking into consideration the loss of those 2 players.

With the Tom Brady involvement and the Undefeated sponsorship they're definitely after that yank support so bringing in Rooney who the murican fans will know is a part of that.

Problem is they're not getting the results on the pitch to support the off the field push.

Aye if you're a championship club and Borussia Dortmund come in for one of your players then they're not hanging around for long

And Tom Brady is a less high profile all-round entertainer and self-promoter like Ryan Reynolds and 'the other one' as they're officially titled.

Obviously a known sportsman but even then a bit tainted toward the very end of his career.

Money will count, but patience too. Though it really has been a poor start.

All clubs outside the prem have to trade players.

VAR is an absolute load of nonsense. Over three minutes to overturn a penalty awarded to palace. It is supposed to be for clear and obvious errors. Load of shite.

Terrible decision to send Ayew off.

He didn’t booked at least 3 players for the same challenge. It’s fine booking him but be consistent

There really is a sense of favoritism wherever this mob turn up.

... & VAR. If it takes over 60 to deal with carry on with the on-field decision as it can't be 'clear & obvious'. Whatever club, wherever played.

It's getting now that referees are just not giving a decision but waiting for upstairs as a first choice.
