Didn't think theirs was a penalty at the time and am still not convinced after watching it, but it was obvious the ref was looking to even things up after it.

Vela was good but gets caught ball watching to often, especially on the lead up to their pen. He got a mouthful off NL and didn't do it as much in second half.

i thought trotter was no better than ok

only a couple came out with any real credit and thats vela and pratley

any judgement of todays game that doesnt make allowances for the conditions just has to be ignored

even eidur didn't look like a footballer

we cant lose the 3 (plus clough) players we have out and not feel it

we are still much nearer the play offs than we were in dougies first season

we need this seasons dawson/juke signing sharpish

no problem with lennons selections so long as davies is being protected

With regard Eidur....I know we are struggling for numbers but with conditions like yesterday when the skill is restricted I hate to say it but not sure he justifies a place in team. Half a dozen touches of class in a 90 slog does not work for me.

Fun and game in Chorley by all accounts.

It went off between FCUM and Leeds before game.

FCUM and Chorleys stewards were at it in the ground.

Chorley yoof out in force after game :-)

Was always going to be a tough one this, our injuries / international losses really showed, the weather was crap and Leeds are in a scrap. With all that, I thought Josh Vela put in a great request to be shipped into the middle, he's a bit off being a full back but showed some great touches.

We're difficult to beat

I reckon most would have taken that as a starter

Have absolute faith the NL will get the players we need

It's reet.

You mean take a draw against 4th bottom at home??

Fuck my life, thems the teams we should be putting 3 past

That ain't nearly what he said.

He said we have become difficult to beat which is a fact. Which compared to where we were is a start.

We need to build on it and if NL gets players in we can see from there.

Unless you think NL is not doing a great job ?

No bad sides in this league.

Happy with a point, taking into consideration, injuries and weather.

Ps look at Huddersfield v Watford score. Who'd have backed Huddersfield?

And the nachos?

Can't go to coast to coast and not have nachos.

It's a better pint that Scott's and you can get served easily. It will do for me.

Leeds is always a hard game and you need to be fit as fck, especially weather like yesterday, but watch the FL show. The only class came from Eidur. The penalty tucked away with ease, a great flick and turn on the 18 yard line which was not read by our forwards, and it didn't show the volley which would have rippled the netting but for a foolhardy defender.

88 odd minutes on the pitch and he was still class. I agree we are struggling for numbers but I thought he was worth his shirt yesterday.

I was in the posh seats yesterday and watched Lenny et al on the bench all I could think was they'll not be here for long don't know why......as an aside the food was really good

Which posh seats were you in and was the overall experience good? Cheers

I'm afraid I'm with Ani here

Not convinced about Eidur or Heskey to be honest

And even less so about the pair together

I have a feeling that was forced though

I disagree with the Davies assessment. We didn't create anything at all once he was on the pitch.

We created very little offer we scored

Lennon changed to 4-4-2 on almost exactly 60 mins and that had little effect

I thought they looked more harassed when Davies was on to be fair; fresh legs and all that

Vela my MOM

I agree, he had another cracking game. He did get caught out a couple of times but at the end of the day he isnt a right back. I think he is able to read the game really well and came inside to cover for Mills a couple of times and if he hadn't they would have had a free shot on goal.

Heskey was a waste of a shirt today larger periods of the match he did nothing. IMO

Without Heskey though as in the first half of the Blackburn game we just have no striker and the opposition defence can move up the pitch

With Heskey on, even just stood there, it gives them something to do.

Heskey is only a sticking plaster whilst Craig Davies was injured, I fully expect him to start when he is fully fit and hopefully continue the good form he showed before he was injured.
