Went to Wigan Sarfend game, Phil was on touch line and nearly got sent off for moaning at ref. He had plenty to moan about as his team were getting dismantled.

Subbed one of his players, who walked past him without shaking Phil's outstretched hand, ripped off his shirt and clearly mouthed "wanker".

I'd suggest he's leaving Sarfend regardless.

Brown is the great white hope now that we have green shoots and are out of the red and in the black.

White ? He is more orange (or oranger?) than Gonzo.

Not only all that above, but on a broader issue, haven't we just got rid of one bloke seemingly more interested in shagging and supping than organising a football team for Saturday (or Tuesday, or whenever)?

I also reckon Deano wants Browny as part of a nefarious puppet-regime plan.

Must be in a small minority but I have no problem at all with that interview. Clearly well pissed off about his current team despite all the speculation not doing the basics of winning their individual battles and no matter what league or standard of football you are in that is the first requirement. That is why we are where we are.

i still dont want brown

i dont rate him but even more of an issue for me is the old players club

just fcuk em all off

We had out best era under the management and coaching of ex players between fat sam, brown and Lee

And coyle took us down

Then Freedman nearly did

Then lennon did

Don't think it makes a difference if they played for us or not, other than familiarity breeding contempt

Would like to see cotterill get the job

But would take brown if not

Can't see what the problem with brown is

But we all have our own opinion

Serves me right, should have stuck my money down the other day. He'll do for me will Sheridan

I'd imagine the compo would be far cheaper for Sheridan than Brown. Southend fans are convinced that Brown is off to us, but I'm not convinced, think Brown is gagging for the job tbh.

Sheridan is certainly the dark horse and he's done wonders at Oldham, who were nailed on for relegation before he took the job.

Has Sheridan enough managerial experience? I'd prefer someone who's not at the moment a flash in the pan. Just checked his record seems a bit chequered seems to start well then tail off, also seems to attract conflict sounds like a Roy Keane type personality, based on what I've read he's not for me.
