  • Benedict Cumberbatch played Alan Turing in The Imitation Game, he's not even a proper bummer.

  • Not quite a show… but the missus has fallen asleep mid program; I do it all the time, just watch on… she doesn’t agree. She’s now fallen asleep 3 times during last 10 mins of episode of Outlaws.

When They See Us on Netflix is brilliant

believe there was a film called the central park 5 on it to?

cheers, like the look of this - remember the story when it happened, all a bit fucking weird with the kid and her dad or something

I shall be watching this post haste

When They See Us is really good.

There's a similar, but more heartbreaking story about Kalief Browder on Netflix too.

The Law in NYC was a cunt to young black lads. Probably still is.

Season 4 of Gomorrah. Excellent again.

Great stuff, still not done S3 though.

Just started The Alcasser Murders on Netflix and these subtitles are already doing my nut in. They seem to be appearing at the top of the screen and the bottom.

Binged on the first four episodes of the latest series of Gomorrah since getting back down under.

Very real - best thing ever on TV for my money.

Just spent time in Europe with one of the cousins who was responsible for ferrying Cammorese to and from court. Armoured car (top of the range Alfa) and drove around with a pistol in his lap. Only car I have ever been in with 20mm thick windows! He has said to us how realistic Gomorrah is and that he can't actually watch it - makes him too uncomfortable after some of the scenes he has witnessed.

Retired now and still has to keep a low profile.

Finished Gomorrah, have to admit I didn't fancy it at first with it being subtitles but had a look on recommendation off here. Glad to say I did, it's outstanding.

Just caught up and watched the last two episodes of Chernobyl. No wonder it rated so highly by TV critics, it was brilliant.

second episode of the cruise on in 6 minutes , casino you know you want one

Right Meldrew - whilst away with friends the fdicks have conspired to book the Celebrity Constellation next year for a 9 night Med cruise.

Board at Barcelona - Monaco - somewhere north Italy, somewhere miles from Rome, Naplesish, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Get off at Venice

Apparently it was a good deal booked through a US Company, $1250 each inside cabin, with basic alcoholic drinks package, all gratuities (15%) paid and $350 per cabin on board spend. All I know is I'm 2 grand down as it stands without flights and know fuck all about the ins and outs.

Go on, sell it to me - am I going to have a good time, or do I have to traipse around all these ports we stop at with another 3000 people.

It was some years ago that I was on one but it was life on the ship rather than the excursions that made the holiday for me.

Most of the excursions were just a faff.

You'll be a right fat knacker by the time you get home though. The food was amazing. We laughed on day 1 that they were serving midnight snacks after a 6 course dinner. By day 3 I couldn't do without!

celebrity are a great cruise line, constellation has just under gone a complete renovation . some nice destinations on that itinerary.

from a personal point of view , i would always go for a balcony,i know it's more expensive , but it is your own sun terrace, an inside cabin has no views.

the only gripes i can come up with (but doesn't bother us) is some times it can be very busy in the buffet at breakfast around 9/10am or if there is an early start for excursions, and some times disembarking in port.

get passed these things and you will have a great time

I just get a massive stench of Werthers Originals and bingo pens whenever I think about cruises.

Fireworks tonight. ITV2. 9pm.

Stranger Things series 3 now available on Netflix.

Also Deutschland 86 is available on All 4, think it was originally shown on Amazon.

I'm loving top gear

There, I've said it

Not liked McGuinness since Peter kay stuff, but him and Flintoff work well

Stranger things

😳😳😳😳

Halfway through series 2 of Dark on Netflix, a German time travelling type thing. Spent 5 episodes pretty much not knowing who the fuck anyone is but it's well done and keeps you wanting to stay with it.

Stranger Things definitely a bit darker than first two seasons, enjoyed it. A few things don't really work but very good on the whole.

Yep good start on stranger things. Ive only done 2 episodes so far, couple more tonight.

The ending of stranger things was bloody brilliant.

Anyone see the Ashes 2005 documentary on channel 4? It was a sort of recap of the series from the England team's perspective with lots of talking heads from that England side.

As well as recapping that amazing series it also was quite poignant in that it really reflected on the sadness for many of those players that the 6 weeks of that series was "it" for them. They were living their dreams and some never got to do anything else at that level.

Also surprising how mentally fragile many of those England players were - Jones, Giles, Harmison....

Quite a weird happy/sad thing going on.
