August 3, 20242 yr I would have thought that 3 centre halves and three midfielders would lend itself to a more attack minded wide player. Cover inside (as long as they're on their preferred side). With three up front, and only 2 in midfield, then perhaps a more defensive minded wide man maybe appropriate?

The 3 up top ... 2 are usually wingers (Collins, CMG, Schon) and 1 CF of Charles & Vic. Then you've got the 4 in Midfield which also requires 2 wide men (Williams, Schon, Cogley, Conway, Jones. 2 Central Mids which we have 6 of. What did we play today ... 352?

August 3, 20242 yr Cannot see Sheehan playing as part of a 2 in midfield. I'm wondering if the manager and staff are thinking about two separate formations, depending upon the opposition. Two plan As maybe, until one starts to become preferred.

August 4, 20242 yr John McAtee update. Reliably informed that he has four offers in one from champ three from League 2 two of which are us and Wrexham. Our offer is by far and away the best for him at this moment. Hopefully this will progress this week one way or another
