The last (&, tbf, only) time I did that before was to fulfill a pledge I made of "If Terry Waites gets out of the Gaza strip alive" ... & 4 years later, in 1991, the fckr did. I had to join a civilised queue of people waiting their turn for a vast array of pledges. Each person had a small group of mates who cheered loudly as their pal performed. There were several cops who hung around ensuring things kept peaceful.

I've still no idea what Dan is meant to be.

You compared him to Vela , completely different types of player.
Its all a matter of opinions.I think Connel would improve our team , others don’t & some are just bitter he walked out & wouldn’t want him back anyway.

Connell has fitness issues hence why he plays so few games.............Move on better than him at the end of there contract

Well, first we ended up in the play-offs, then yrashed those. We've had a manager & an owner even who were shell-shocked & it has put our recruitment plan B this long to even begin to get going.

Up to know it's been "fancy joining us ?", "Who's your manager ?", "not sure tbh", "give me a call when you do".

Connell would be a decent addition probably... I didn't compare I was just skitting the ludicrous post saying he was a superb player & we'd be lucky to have him. 

Dan's not had chance to test going, not good enough for Southampton,  but Evatts clearly seen something that he feels made him worth buying.

That would be great…in reality not expecting it… from what I’ve seen he ain’t a footballer.

Dan is strong and has the eye for a pass but he has the touch of a rapist and his shooting isn’t the best so he’ll never be a target man like jdb or cj until his control and general footwork improve massively. And if it ain’t natural to him it’s unlikely it will.
