Not a particularly prolific poster on here I know, but I've been here for a good few years now and I must say, there's recently been an increase in people taking offence at what would be previously assumed "pub humour" and even well used and accepted phrases and sayings getting people all sulky. 

Sort yourselves out you massive fucking bumders. It's all good. Very very rare that the line gets crossed on here as far as I can tell.

No reason that the differing viewpoints in society wouldn't be reflected here, I don't think this should be the place to air views that would get you disciplined at work, if I said that at work I would definitely, in my opinion correctly, dragged to HR.

On the subject of time served here I predate the time you had to be a member because of some comments made after a United game causing issues, so almost 2 decades. It was different then, wasn't dominated by a few posters talking bollocks and demanding statements from the CEO. I've posted similar before but this place used to be piss funny, now it has largely been taken over by tedious men with too much time on their hands.

As far as I was aware Perth this was a message board open to people with differing views, or let’s face it it would be pretty boring. Not all views are shared and I get flak all the time and sometimes I deserve it but if I have a view I share it. I hope we’re all old and ugly enough (I certainly am) on here not to get fussed by it so if it bothers you that much maybe ignore what you don’t like as I do? 😁

I do mostly but someone was being dragged for voicing their opinion about a comment they felt was unacceptable, they have a right to express but got jumped on for being woke, are they allowed their view? Did you defend their right to an opinion? Also this board actually is pretty boring right now but I'll stay around as some of the posters are pretty entertaining. Kudos on being on of the most reactive posters here but still believing you ignore stuff you don't like

It was very funny back in the day, some posters still are to be fair but there are so many long winded posts that day to day it's tedious. You've sort of touched on a point I agree with, it was politically incorrect here but at least it was funny and inventive, not "you're woke" "well you're a gammon". I do still feel sorry for the way Diddles was treated, I should have defended him.
